Great montage mate. Moved to Dorset as a kid in 2003 and clearly remember waiting at Poole bus station for bus home to Bearwood on many occasions. Was always hoping that one of these would turn up but annoyingly it was normally an Optare Solo lol, though was lucky enough to get a VR several times and the resulting journey would always be fun and noisy!
The one type of bus i did NOT like - the gutless shite Badgerline ran were pathetic.f On a '3 bell' load, from Clevedon, the things were an embarrasment. Passengers used to say " Be quicker to get out and walk !" or " Do you want us to get out and push ? "
Strange - the Wilts ones I drove for years were in the main great, some of them were crap admittedly, but then thats true of all vehicle types, individuals good and bad!!!
