Yurt sounds good. We had 4 scouts do it on a survival campout. Don't know if you would consider it a traditional one, but they did a weave of sorts with the branches in a roundish shape, built a small fire in the middle and they slept around the edges. I was pretty impressed.

My husband and I get home on Sunday from trucking all week and love watching you during dinner on the big screen. We just wish your shows were a little longer, at least 40 to 45 minutes. I know some people only wanted 30 minutes but we actually wish your shows were longer.

Let me tell you that you Corporals Corner AF is the ONLY one I watch every Sunday religiously not the others. I like that you try new things like the tower or that metal shelter, the bushcrafting or even camp with different types of tents or hammocks. To you are simple the best out there. I'm sure there are others out there that you may learn from but soon you will lets us know what you have learned. That's what I like about you so keep up the go work and keep those videos coming.

We catch bowfin here all the time. Now bowfin is better to eat in the fall and winter when the water is cold. Now if you want to firm the meat up. Soak it overnight in the refrigerator In butter milk. Then salt and pepper roll it In cornmeal or.your favorite breading. And fry until done all little hot sauce helps too.

Love the idea of a Yurt!! Very functional habitat. I Didn't realize that Bowfin was available on east coast, just knew they were in the south. I think they are usually fried whole or smoked whole because of meat. Meat is probably worse in the summer, spring and fall may be more firm. I enjoyed the flow of this video, great job.

A yurt could be a semi permanent shelter for you to base your activities in the back of the property. I think it's a good idea. It's good to see you actually having fun while you are filming nowadays. Having your own patch of land seems to have made a world of difference for you. Though I have to admit something..... I liked last week's tent better because you walk in and out of it and don't crawl. That's just my preference. 🙂

Love your channel my brother in arms. I'm Army Rangers and my rank was corporal. We had about the same training in basic... same kind of skill set. Thank you for your service... from one vet to another, you are badass. Keep up your great work. 👍

When I was a kid, the old timers told me those were snakeheads and not good to eat. I’ve learned that as an apex predator, I can eat anything I want or have to. Like you said, “there can only be one.” 😁 The yurt sounds good. I’ll be looking forward to that.

We callem Choupic in south Louisiana. If you ice them down right away and clean them as soon as possible they wont get mushy. You can mix eggs breadcrumb and seasoning to make Choupic fish patties if it gets mushy on you.
