For boat fishing with deadbaits I allways use a rod with unfixed Hand Part.
I can put the griff below the reel in and out.
I think you now what rod i mean.
But this rod is a lot more short as the other it will be perfect.

The handle does look a bit long for a boat/bank style short to medium distance casting rod and including that marker ring in the premium cork handle is not necessary.
