    Not a joke, man. I've watched tons of channels and videos, but dude......you were the chosen one. You were the only one that explained me everything from the basics to the whole end of the subnetting, subnet masks, CIDR. Watched all of your videos about that topic, and I finally got it. Thanks, man. Keep up with the good work.

    thank you sir for your valuable tutorial, i have question here
    instead of saying "" how to find the number of hosts in each network?"" the third question, isn't it better to say "" how to find the valid hosts in each network?"" and exclude the network id and broadcast id while they are not include.
    suppose here the valid host is 2 after subtracted the network id and broadcast id.
    otherwise it will become to include the two network and broadcast id and total will be 4 and that will become total number of ip's instead of valid hosts?
    sorry for my long explanation my aim is to understand more if im wrong.
    thanks

    How to do Subnetting and find Subnet Mask, Network ID, Host IP Address and Broadcast Address for ip address: 192.168.10.128/25

    • @badripaudel77
      @badripaudel77 4 года назад

      Subnet mask : 255.255.255.128
      No of subnet : 2
      No of host : 128
      No of Usable host : 128-2 = 126
      Network ID : 192.168.10.0
      Broadcast ID : 192.168.10.127

    .252 is the subnet mask, there will be 62 host addresses (64 total actually because it''s 64 - 2), and 2 subnets (4 total actually because again it's 4 - 2).

    192.168.10.0/30
    Answer:
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.252
    Networks:64
    IP Address on each network:192.168.10.0 to 192.168.10.3
    192.167.10.4 to 192.168.10.7
    ...............
    Total Number of host on each network:
    4

    • @networkingplus
      @networkingplus  6 лет назад +1

      Good. But the host is not 4.
      You will get total 4 IP Address on each network.
      The formula of host is 2^n - 2 (We subtract 2 because on every network the first IP address is network ID and the last IP Address Broadcast ID.)
      Thanks...🙂
