I love the part from 4:15 to 4:30, when Matti and Klemens have that little dialogue about who is the pessimist and who is the optimist. They were truly considerating how to answer and the things they say show how much they care and love each other. That was a great question and they're the most adorable cousins on earth❤❤

And they're right, kids, consent is key!
That moment where Klemens leaned against Matthías while he was talking about how he has a hard time expressing himself was really sweet.
Matthías seemed genuinely surprised at Klemens' answer re: who is the optimistic one, and I think that is something that even those of us who have watched basically every Hatari interview on RUclips have never seen before, so kudos to William for that. It was nice to see.
@Isleif I sort of wonder if part of it is that they are now speaking to audiences that may not be as familiar with them as those back in Iceland, so they may have felt that they had to strike a different balance. I did enjoy the bit about putting Einar in with the checked luggage. 😂
@Isleif I want to push back a bit on the idea that what they're satirizing is "run of the mill commercial bands". That seems so much smaller than the ideas that they're trying to get across. I mean, we've had this conversation elsewhere, so I think you get that. I also think that adjusting to your audience is not the same as "selling out" or whatever. I think if the message is the most important thing, you do what you need to make sure it is received. A message that isn't received can't be effective.
And as for the glimpse of real mixed in with the satire, I really appreciated it, honestly. It was a lovely moment that is very unusual for them.

I love how serious and real they are in this interview. I never really knew what I should think about them.
I dont like them.They are so cold and not sympathic.I looked interviews with other contestants they are more sympathic and different especially Luca Hanni and Duncan Laurence.

I just want to take a moment and appreciate how William is so natural and kind in all of wiwi's interviews, his questions are also always on point, and you can see he really respects all of his guests (sadly not many reporters have these qualities...). Both of them are cuties. Bbbbut....!!!!!Klemens might be the song's undertaker with the angelic calm voice but i bet he is a very touchy and maybe short-tempered person while Mattias is so damn trying to hide the fact that he is super sensitive and tolerant. And i am rarely wrong about people.
Well I absolutely love them. They seem so human, real and down to earth. Great questions and William actually made them laugh and their individual personalities came through.

i was getting goosbums when william was asking them : what will happen if you will win Eurovision and that we will go to Iceland. that would be AMAZING and i hope that it will happen that song is something that we have never heard i think at eurovision so its very unique and i just really hope that this year we will have a winner ho has never won the contest before and if it will happen i think that all the winning scandinavian countries list is complete .

In another interview, Matthías joked that they are drafting a letter of apology to the Icelandic people in the event that they win because hosting would overload the economy. Would Reykjavik even have a venue big enough? It's not a very big city.
