When laying a grid to level the ground, the first point you place determines the height of the leveled ground and (can be rotated to set) the direction of the grid - the second point you place determines the size/area of the grid. Before you do the extra click to set the grid, you can rotate the entire grid around. Consider making a pen, then grabbing the hungry rabbits and releasing them in the pen for later slaughter when you need food. Haven't tried it myself, just occurred to me.
Hey Kage, you didn't notice so maybe you'll see this. There's fiber for making Rope in your Gather Hut. Also, any crafting items can go into the containers on either side of the Work Bench for direct crafting from Containers when/if you put a villager in that spot.
On the food, when you scan the area at 22:30, you can see bunch of vegetables you can gather. For some reason your gatherer does not harvest carrots, and they prioritize berries and twine. I would put veggies on highest priority, because you can grill all of that stuff, and if it's on the campfire rack, your villagers will eat it. I also hunt wolves myself and fry bunch of steaks, they fill hunger the most. Finding wolf spawning area can be tough on some maps though, but it was always by the coast for me.
Hey Kage, how are ya! A great video and happy to hear about the update. Time goes so fast as I watch your video. I am thinking "cool cool, the progress is lookin' good...what is next?" Kage "I think I'll call it here" Huge smile! TY so much!
You should cook mushrooms we often eat mushrooms at my country and cooking it important to get rid of potential invisible bacteria (if it is infested with bacteria it's useless) and other micro organism dwells in it. :) If it is weird color (green yellow red) most likely poisonous or infected.
You really want to cook mushrooms, especially if you pick them yourself in the forest. Can be alot of ... stuff living in there, and mushrooms are very heavy to digest raw. -Hrafn
I only have one question for you, Kage. Have you figured out how to get your people to fight for you? It's great that you can assign them jobs but the number one job of any warrior people should be defending the clan against any enemy.
Game seems to run just fine on a lower end PC. i have a 5800x3d with a 4080. i run everything maxed out on 1440p. Sadly the demo is 5 and 1/2 hours total play time. I stopped testing, waiting for release so i can buy it.

eating garlic and onions are great for healing. found heavy attacks very useful too.
one tip I've heard: rename your people and give them their job as their last name. so you can see it better at a glance.

Next time you guard against the rabbit creatures, try shooting them with your bow!
Right clicking on the food puts 5 pieces at once into the campfire instead of moving one piece at a time.
I wrote that on the last video from the first session, guess he didn't see it 😂
There are standing tour he’s you can build and they cast really good light

Right now the NPC will only defend themselves. That's gonna change in release.
The ASKA is good game and want more.
Wait... did you just circumsize that wight?? lol
Shoot the rabbits with the bow for steaks?
What visual settings are you using and are you getting 60 fps?
