Just stay close to the Caelid Putrid Avatar for an easy kill and watch out for the Scarlet Rot. You can go around the tree into the Minor Erdtree Catacombs and cheese him from the doorway there but I am showing you an easy way to kill the Caelid Putrid Avatar that works just as good without cheese.
