Good Haul of Goodies and a good feed. Hopefully made up for the rough as conditions. Enjoyed the watch, well done. See you out on the water sometime.🐟🐟🐟
Thanks Reuben. Ohiwa has a similar feel to the Manukau. I seem to have bad luck with weather during competition days. Glad this day worked out. Hope to catch up on a club meet soon.
Congratulations on the top snapper Jeremy. We got to the harbour about 11am after been skunked further east. I wasn't holding out much hope but picked up 4 nice snapper over on that sandbank in about 1.5m 👍
Cheers Andrew. It was great to see you and the lads again. That sand bank was holding some great fish, unfortunately I was having real issues trying anchor properly. Will be better prepared for sand anchoring next time. Hope to catch up with you guys later in the year 👍.
Hi Liam. Thanks mate. Yes I remember you. I struggled throughout the morning to stay anchored, but when I did the fishing was on fire. How did you do that day?
@@SchecterNZKayakFishing would love to, but not sure I can make that happen. 3 species in the coromandel would be my #1, then I will probably do Northland classic, not sure I can fit anymore in.

Thank you bro.

Nice 1 mate! I was in that yellow ocean kayak that you were drifting past at the start trying to anchor.

@@SchecterNZKayakFishing caught our limit of snapper but mostly pannies unfortunately.
Nice one. I was a good patch of snapper that morning. I’ll definitely fish out there again. Hope to see you next year.
Love that spot at torere.
It’s a beautiful place. I found the fishing tough.
Great video, great fish and congratulations on the win.
Cheers Adam. Maybe you can join us next year? It’s a pretty cool area to explore.

That’s understandable. Northland was a blast, you’ll love it. Will see you in October 👍
Doing the hard mahi in those conditions bro 👍
Congrats on the win 👏
Cheers lozza. Hope to see you come back next year. It was definitely quiet without ya.
Polite way of saying I talk to much 🤣
🤣🤣
Nice fish
What's the harbour and outer harbour fish like during October Nov
Fishing should pickup in the harbour by spring. Plenty of trevs in the harbour channel.
Hey Bro do you have your berley down the bottom or floating on top of the water
I don’t use berley. I usually throw small pieces of bait into the current, but that’s about it.
mate wasnt expecting that result! what bay is it at 40sec?
Thanks mate. Yeah the fishing was great. That’s your hood eh? That’s Torere.
