I listen to this playlist on loop for about 2 months during high school. I’d blast it in my ears while walking through the halls. At the library alone while doing homework. And I ate lunch listening to it either crying for talking to myself for company. I’m alone about 90% of my everyday life, so, this brings me a little comfort. This playlist is what my mind sounds like.
I love how "real" the pianos sound. It doesn't sound digital at all. You can hear every sound, every stomp on the keys, and if you listen closely, you may hear some background noise. The ost is so damn good
These are just my own thoughts, but I feel like it's supposed to be evocative of a piano that is being played underwater. Water, drowning, rebirth from water... water is a thematic motif of the story , and a big symbolic construction of the nature of feeling trapped by both your own mind and society, like you're drowning.
I've watched A Silent Voice again, and I realized that the tracks in this video are in the same order that appear in the movie. Really appreciate you putting in the time for this. Thank you.

Just now have I watched this film, it's been 3 whole fkin days and I still didn't recover mentally, the girl was really similar to me in 7 and 8th grade, I was bullied by the whole class basically until I left, nowadays had those dark thoughts because of the unknown of my life.. My friedn recommended this 2 years ago, it's only now that I've watched this. Movie was made masterfully. Reply so I can come back to this later and check on my life here.
