- Toto performing Africa at The Met In Philadelphia, PA on 10-20-2019 on their 40 Trips Around The Sun Tour, done in honor of the 40th Anniversary of the band, although by this point it was now the 43rd Anniversary of Toto. This was the last show of their tour, and since this was the end of the tour, that meant that this show was going be the last one for Toto at least for the foreseeable future as well, as Toto Guitarist/Lead Vocalist Steve Lukather had announced not long before the end of the tour. This being the last show they were able to get original Keyboardist/Lead Singer David Paich who wrote Africa, and had to miss this leg of the tour for medical reasons to be there and play on the last two songs, this one and their encore, Home Of The Brave. Paich had done the same as this show when Toto was in their hometown of LA on this tour, and I'm glad Paich was doing better and was able to join them for the end of this show as well, it being the last one at least for the foreseeable future, as it was only right that for the last performances of their #1 Hit Africa, and Home Of The Brave, that he be singing and playing keyboards on them! Definitely an amazing moment to witness when he came out as a snail guest before Africa, and I'm so glad I got to be there for it!

Africa is the most played song in the TOTO Concert. Each songs have their own strength.To me, I pleasonally feel the version played by JEFF PORCARO is still the best.. May JEFF PORCARO REST IN PEACE IN THE HEAVANS ABOVE
