Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her summer getaway! The Atlas star has been busy planning her travels, according to a source close to her. Amid recent reports of strain in her marriage to Ben Affleck, Lopez is opting to spend quality time this summer "with her children, family, and close friends," as announced by Live Nation on May 31, which led to the cancellation of her planned concert tour.
In previous years, Lopez and Affleck have enjoyed memorable summer vacations, including trips to France and Italy. Their 2022 honeymoon in Milan and Lake Como, along with a birthday celebration on the celebrity-favorite island of Capri, are among their highlights.
Despite once describing herself as "not a big vacation person," Lopez has expressed a deep affection for Italy. "When I finally spent a couple of summers in the south of Italy, I really, really loved it," she revealed in a 2023 interview with Travel + Leisure. She humorously admitted that her life had been mostly focused on work, but her experiences in Italy changed her perspective.
While Lopez hasn't disclosed her exact vacation plans for this year, her affinity for Italy suggests she may have her sights set on returning to this beloved destination.
