Apologies, but I'm not old enough to relate to everyone's feelings towards this, but from what I can see it looks beautiful. I mostly play Star Rail and wonder if Hoyo is building up to connect everything somehow. We already have the imaginary tree so I wonder what they're planning.

I used Topaz video ai for initial upscaling, then used Clip studio to redraw some scenes using thicker and more defined lines, and finished it off in After effects where I added film grain to mask some artifacts and make it rougher due to over-smoothening from upscaling, color graded the scene to match the rougher look and make the thicker lines pop out even more.

but GGZ existed way before genshin, it released 2013 for the first time while genshin released 2020
