My daughter was 30, passed away 2 years ago. She loved this band so much, in 2010 she named her daughter Eisley. She's 13 now. These songs are very special to our family. ❤
Named my son eisley after my middle name isley, figured that was the correct spelling, today was first time I’ve heard of this band I’ve only heard of Isley brothers kinda like them for real, sorry for your loss such a unique beautiful name!
@M S so you're saying I'm a real musician because I'm not mainstream? so wouldn't that mean that i have good taste in music by your standards? fyi all bands that are mainstream were once not mainstream... dare to take rational black pill?
@M S Actually you're not getting what I"m saying, I'm saying mainstream music even today isn't all necessarily all bad. Just because the music industry promotes musicians and makes them celebrities doesn't equate to them not being real musicians. Just because they are promoted and made celebrities also doesn't mean that they aren't able to play instruments.
I first saw them open for "New Found Glory" in 2006. My dad bought me their CD while I was in an eating disorder treatment center that summer. I listened to this album over and over again and when I listen to it now it takes me back to that "safe space" I was in at 18 years old. Their songs are mesmerizing. Now I'm 31, and when I am feeling anxious putting my headphones and listening to this one helps. They never got the exposure they deserved but I hope they at least know what they created means to their fans.
Yes girl! I saw them open for NFG too!! I'm also 31! Isn't it crazy how music can just transport you back to a certain time and place? I really hope and do believe that they know how much they mean to us :)
She walks in the room Her nose in the air All jaws drop The guys just stare Perfect complexion A perfect smile The spotlight's on her, but mean while Friend slips by unnoticed By admiring eyes But God sees more than make up He sees what's beneath an outward disguise
Thank you for sharing this. That's not an easy thing to talk about let alone deal with. I'm very happy this music brought you back to "the morning light that shall burst bright and keep us here safely."
Holy shit. Was look through old journals today *yes diary* , and found an entrance w a list of my fave bands. It read -Eisley ❤️. That led me here and holy shit.. nostalgia hurts like a mother******.
I first discovered this song on KOKF 91fm Christian radio station in Edmond/Oklahoma City in 2005, now an Air1 Worship Now affiliate, owned by the Educational Media Foundation(EMF)
@@meekhouse I saw them in concert with I don’t even know who know at I’m not sure which venue but probably Bartlesville and then a million times after. I always loved the harmonies and the creative songs. Thanks for the memories!

According to Wikipedia, Stacy is currently 21 years old, and this video was made in 2003. That means Stacy, in this video, is roughly 14-15 years old. Holy crap dude. It's amazing how much talent she had at such a young age. And still does. Damn. And this song is amazing. Eisley is amazing. That's all I have to say.
Not sure why I never got into Eisley back in the day. I ha I think maybe an EP of telescope eyes. But pretty dope to find em now, it's like finding a bunch of new music
If you've ever performed playing guitar and singing, sometimes that mic being still is the only constant you have on a the stage lost in the melody. You kiss it, and it brings you home.
When I was younger, I remember listening and singing this song with my mom. Especially on long road trips. We would listen to all their songs and sing along. I'm so glad I bonded with my mom over this band
First heard of you in 2003. I was deployed to Iraq, got a "rolling stone" magazine in the mail. Only one I have ever owned or read. You were "the next big things". We had built an internet Cafe. I created an Amazon account and ordered "Marvelous Things" I have physical copies of all if your music. I saw you in a bar once. Maybe in 04 or 05. For 19 years now Eisley has been a part of my life. I thank you and appreciate you being there for me.
I cannot believe it's not legendary with, like, millions views! I'm SO puting it in my movie someday - so more people learn the glory of this song! Or someone else - please, put it in a tv-series. Then it will explode!
My heart. Still bump Eisley to this day and follow the sisters on insta, such a sweet lil blessing to see their beautiful family grow over the years. Thanks for such incredible music.
It is embracing the dualism inherent in life. Light cannot be truly expressed but from within the shadows. It is when the spirit has become engulfed in darkness that the light is truly cherished.
For a year I have been trying to think of the name of the band I used to listen to when I was 15, it just popped into my head and I shed a tear...It's been too long!
I remember catching this video on MTV2, being completely in love with the aesthetic of it, the pretty colors, the innocent yet pale feel, the girls and boys with the long faces, they are pretty much grown kids but you can see they're still children, and of course the song is amazing, completely years ahead. It was 2005 I guess, I was 25.
i remember they played this video on MTV (yes MTV) one morning before i went to school and that was the last time i saw it. and i forever tried to find it and tried to find out the name of the song. no luck until just recently. totally awesome.
I was totally crushing on Sherri until I saw them in concert a few weeks ago... can't get Chauntelle out of my mind. Gorgeous. And all are super super nice! Looking forward to spring tour :)
I love how clean and dirty it is at the same time. A crisp blue shirt bright sunny sky, neatly organized silverware Then throw in some grassy knees and a missing piece of cake to shake things up I just really enjoy it
OH MY GOODNESS! LJ ALLEMAN! NO WAY. That's so dang cool. I know your dad (Papa DuPree) went there when he was younger, if I remember correctly from when I spoke with him at the Baton Rouge show. How awesome. Represent Lafayette, Louisiana!
A friend sent me this song about 5 years ago and I listened to it over and over again before deciding to go out and buy Room Noises and Combinations on CD. Now my "Eisley" Pandora station is all I need to keep me sane at work :) And yes, I'm totally in love with Sherri.
It’s now almost 2024 and I’m still listening.

That's my favorite too😊 from my teenagehood
Now I'm gonna make 28y
Marvelous thing.
This song didn't get the mainstream publicity that it deserved. But it still gives me goosebumps. Pure brilliance
STILL...even in 2021. One of the best songs ever!!
1000% agree
The Valley is their best album but this song is great too.
Stunning melodies and harmonies-- Amazingly original. They are criminally overlooked. How?
@M S lol not exactly
@M S some mainstream music is good.

M S I agree.
This song reminds me of a simpler time - being an emo kid in high school. Now I'm just an aging hipster
Feel this

Yup!
Precisely this.

Been listening since I was maybe 17, when they opened 4 Snow Patrol in Houston. 35 now, still listening 🥰
Oh yeah! What a tour that was!
this was the video that sold me on this band....
Me too! I first saw this back in 2005 and fell in love. They still continue to amaze me.
Same. Still my favorite song of theirs. Telescope eyes is second favorite.
This was my MySpace song for a year straight
The Winter Song is the first song I ever heard of them and it was on my friends MySpace profile
Was listening to this back in 2008. Re-discovered in 2024. Still loving it.
These vocal harmonies, these drums, these strong bass lines... Priceless.
2024!

Saw them in east Texas :) bc they are close to me and have most of them including their dad on fb
Holy shit I've been trying to remember the name of this band for so long, then the isley brothers came up on my feed and it hit me. EISLEY!! 😍
I was thinking about y’all a couple of days ago and here you are in my feed. The algo may be creepy, but it’s good.
The ending of this makes me anxious lmao

I can't help laughing whenever it shows the raised shot of her with her face like, smashed against the microphone.
I literally was looking and giggling at that part of the video

This song is enchanting. Never gets old

Saw you guys way back when. Classics never die, you are now a classic.
2019, but it feels like 2008 when that girl I had a crush on in high school burned me a mix CD that included this song. Oh nostalgia...
