ALFRED VARGAS: Kayang pagsabayin ang acting at pulitika ||

Actor-politician Alfred Vargas recently sponsored a thanksgiving party cum fellowship with the entertainment press in line with his Best Actor win for the film "Pieta" at the 72nd FAMAS Awards. In the event, he announced that "Pieta" won't be available in any streaming or online platform. As producer, he wants to tour it all over the country through special screenings in theaters. He thanked Superstar Nora Aunor for committing to the project. Alfred said he learned so much from the legendary actress when it comes to his acting craft. That's why he was transparent enough to admit that he got hurt when the movie didn't make it to last year's MMFF. As to his Best Actor triumph, the good-looking actor is so proud considering that he only makes one project a year and with "Pieta", he received his fourth acting trophy. He feels honored to share the victory with Piolo Pascual who won for "Mallari." Alfred believes that if you do a good film, people will watch it. With his FAMAS trophy, the competent actor is simply proud because his efforts were recognized.
