I thought the same thing, then I read at the bottom where it says "Session recorded at Third Man Records in Nashville, TN." I thought she had like painted the walls in her basement and made it into a huge studio. It looked like more square footage in a single space than most houses have.
I’ve listened to the album and it’s beautiful. “The song in E” has broken my heart so many times already though. It’s helping me get over a relationship form last year. It gets dark at times but her music always let me breathe again. I want to know that I’m going to be ok and move on and deep down I know I will but it’s just hard at the moment to see that. Thank you for anyone who reads this. I needed to get it off my chest and make it real .

The cover of Fell on black days hit me by surprise - it was so moving! And it was both uniquely performed, and also lived up to the original. wow!

It's a lovely thing to say. I feel happy as well when I realised how stronger and healthier she looks now.
She's much healthier in this video than her last KEXP appearance. I'm glad she had the time to rest and recover after three (3) years of constant touring and her medical scare last 2019.

I hate in when I can't make out what she is saying...good performance by the band and her except for that one thing.
Sometimes the words are there and then they're gone.
The mix sucks and that's the fault of the guy who is working the computer mix.
keep taking risks its required for growth and interesting art your awesome I'm a big fan.
not sure if the drums and second guitar are adding to the message/beauty or if they are a distraction from your uniqueness (maybe have the drummer use brushes?). I think the addition of the bass is successful cuz instead of looping the same instrument we get a different voice. I think bass sits well in the mix cuz it adds a dramatic but also soothing contrast to your guitar and vocals. Thank you for making such great work.

I honestly liked solo stuff more than this, I don't think the arrangements and the band make up to what makes her so unique. Still, wish Julien all the best as she evolves :)
