definitely. Also her show in Paris, which is also on yt, was a fantastic contender. Rejoice had so much emotion in that show, especially with the octave raise in the second verse.
I agree. Julien is for real! The only difference between you and Julien is Julien is incredibly talented. Who are you? Don't try to compare yourself to Julien Baker. Thanks for your narcissistic opinion though. @@xavier3025
i've really been struggling recently. sometimes it seems like julien baker is the only person who would understand the things im going through. just wanted to say thanks, i suppose. if I never make another comment again, i would've been happy this was my last one.
I fell in love with her recently as a Jawbreaker fan for 3 decades.Im sure y'all know she covers Accident Prone. Ill admit she does it better, sorry Blake. I want her version played at my funeral/memorial if anyone has one for me.
She's got more confidence, is more at ease, taking her time but at the risk of starting to sound too relaxed and ambient, how ridiculous this may sound. I like her earlier live sessions better, especially the tiny desk one, Funeral pyre on that session was more immediate and focused, also better than the single version. But I guess, her playing the same songs over and over again she wants to change them a bit over time.

This is arguably her best performance on RUclips. Poignant and flawless.

How does she not have MILLIONS of listeners? So much love and respect for Julian!
welp, she does, and well deserved
almost 2 mil monthly on spotify only
I think she spells her name with an "e," as in "Julien."
(It's the French/ Belgian style spelling, whereas mine is the Pomme/ English way.)
@@julianwarmington1267 haha loser.... (no offence though) ;)
Because just like myself she rejects fame and being a corporate tool.

Love Julien so dearly.
One of the sweetest voices I've ever heard👍😍

i feel the same about her songs too. I really only turn to her music when i feel no one understands me, its nice to have a friend in music sometimes
@@Coffee.cat_0 Yeah i know what you mean, sometimes it feels like music is the only thing that will understand.
@@l.z.6553 oof, i'm glad you replied to this.
@@faigler thank you, I appreciate the reply :)
Watching this performance is a great day to start my Sunday in America! Great job on this video. Can’t wait to play this album on July 19th, 2023!
I’ve been thinking about this comment for weeks. What is happening on July 19, 2023?

Thanks for posting!
Thank you so much for the beautiful recording
Is it my imagination, or does the "We're mesmerized" voice at 25:37 sound a lot like Cheryl Waters from KEXP?
Love this !
her and tash sultana should do a show together. ok maybe that would be a little overkill... maybe perform a few songs, ya' that'd be cool.
Enchanting!
THANK YOU

Anyone have the set list?
Eight years ago? 17:29 She's been touring since she was 14? I believe it but can someone confirm?
she used to be in a band called star killers

Cooper Stonehouse-Michie you are completely right. I’ve been to two of her concerts and they were all jaw dropping.
is it just me or does she look a bit more beefy?
why do you feel the need to comment on that 😭
is it just me or is your life miserable and pointless
THANK
YOU
