I love watching these Artists Alley videos to gain inspiration--I'm an artist myself and am starting work on my first graphic novel! I've always felt that my initial sketches were too "fuzzy" and "not structured enough," but I'm astounded to see that the great Jim Lee's pencil sketches look a lot like mine!! Great to see this video of an absolute legend do his stuff. :)

1:26-1:33 someone teach this to Frank Miller again. Dude was a godsend before but now cant even do basic perspective drawings ala elementary school drawings

You know he's truly mastered his own style and techniques when he says "the lines find themselves"
even though he mostly does pencils, hes insanely good at inking.
