Paolo's definately one of the most underrated bassists. Screaming, singing, plays guitar, makes a huge contribution on all the albums AND plays a Warlock.
I love how Matt and even Corey occasionally are opting to use black-metal-esque vocals instead of the original metalcore sound. The deeper vocals sound much heavier!
Glad to hear that he's screaming again despite the fact that he said he wouldn't do it live ever! Haha that didn't last long. So much better now! Loving that explorer!
On the forums over at TriviumWorld, we had a topic up about this very video, we all thought it was Paolo too. Here's Coreys exact comment: that low gutteral thing is me .. i scream so loud i overpower paolo anyways... he has a higher raspier type scream/heavy singing voice , and he came over to sing with me i did the low grunt to go with his high scream to do kinda a death metal deicide high/low scream mix
Yes he is drumming in this show. The reason why he wasn't on the second leg of the Into The Mouth of Hell We March tour, is because of personal reasons.
I got all of Trivium too. I got caught during Slipknot though. I've had pretty good luck so I can't complain too much. Plus I've also filmed Slipknot 3 other times. No biggy :-)
@guitarking9 Yeah, me too but, you know, in the last three albums we both know that the "composing influences" of matt and paolo increased really much. Travis was in trivium from the beginning of the band, and he brought his own style to the drum parts, but the music, the ideas, the lyrics, we know that almost everything come from matt, and in second way from paolo and corey. I really like them, and we, as fans, have to sustain everyone who bring something into the Trivium project! :D
i seriously wonder why not many videos show matt soloing...it's like when he is playing the cameraman doesn't focus on him.... juz wondering though....
@guitarking9 Travis was very important and I love Trivium and the beats that travis brought, but in the last period, during the latest shows he wasn't the same anymore. In this performace you can clearly hear the mistakes and the lack of power and grit in his beats, in his shots. I'm very sad about his departure, from the band, but i think that nick is the right choice. He's really powerful, he comes from a death metal band and he can bring something new, something fresh to trivium's music!

Does that mean heafy was trying to copy dime when he used an ML? No. It doesnt matter wat guitar u play. Besides he can have any Gibson he wants now cause he is endorsed by Gibson Guitars.

rhoads' is rhoads guitar, they sound great and if ppl use them, its cool, explorers are incredible guitars, hetfield only used a gibson back in the late 80s, he normally uses an esp signature thats made specifically for him. strat is the most used guitar so more than the ppl u mentioned use them. mustaines v is his signature V, the other v's are different so no, its not his guitar. the whole image thing is cool and all but it relies in the style and actions u give off, not the guitars u use/play
i think he shouldof stayed with dean, they are alot better than gibson, the necks fit your hand like perfect and the tone is amazing, i no gibsons have good tone but i think dean is better
