    I have no idea how this game works.
    I'm just here to watch Kibler.

    "Kibler can't play a deck without green?"
    No, no, no.... more like "Kibler WON'T play a deck without green."
    Neither will I, for the most part. Green is so much fun.

      You don't understand. The Dragonmaster can only harness the power of green decks. He had literally never played a deck not in Naya colors.

      MisstheBanks kibler is like the first guy to play caw-go back then in standard, a deck that totally changed the format at that time (during zendikar, m11) and that was blue and white

    • @CGoody5642
      @CGoody5642 7 лет назад

      Pierre Morin didn't change the format. draw-go was already a thing. caw-blade changed the format

    Why Hendry didn't play the Obliterator on turn 4 in game 1 is beyond me. That move cost him the game

    How did Ian play the Phyrexian Obliterator? It costs 4 black mana but he tapped a green one
    ?

      Jin urborg makes every land a swamp

    • @nomukun1138
      @nomukun1138 7 лет назад +2

      He also has Twilight Mire, a "filter land" that taps and uses a black or green mana to generate GG, BG, or BB. I think at one point he tapped Twilight Mire, Forest, Swamp, Swamp to make BBBB.

  • @Karan-zm3qp

    As fun as it was to watch, I wouldn't discount the B/G deck. Kibler seemed to topdeck all the right answers at all the right times. Good games though

      Play free Magic Duels on Steam to learn the basics. Buy a crummy pre-constructed deck and go to Standard Friday Night Magic at any card shop (look up locations on locator.wizards.com/) and get annihilated by better decks a few nights. Chat with other players and find someone who can give advice without annoying you. If you enjoy it, look into buying singles to improve your deck or learn how to draft.
      Incredible fun especially if you have friends that play, but it takes a bit of money to play Magic. Drafts are usually 15 dollars, Standard tournaments are 0-5 or more depending on prizes, but of course building a deck is a big expense.

      Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes all lands (including the fetch) into swamps, meaning he can tap it for black mana.

    • @kylemessinetti1044

      Oh that's cool I didn't notice that I just assumed it was something else. It's hard to see what the cards are sometimes unless you know what they are. That's the first time I've seen that card. I stopped playing between 7th core set and scars so I wasn't playing for a while in between that.

    Does that beginning look sketchy to anyone else? Like how Kibler has his hands under the table and how he's got those super loose arm sleeves? I don't know, man, just seems kinda odd.

    • @SleepNinjaCA
      @SleepNinjaCA 8 лет назад +5

      +NeonTooth Brian has won enough MTG tournaments to be clear of suspision. He doesn't need to cheat to win, he enjoys playing the game (MTG and others) regardless of the outcome, as you can see on his streams, etc.
