Hi Siddhardhan, as a beginner when i tried to explore resources for learning ML, on every new site i got even more confused but THIS COURSE HAS JUST MADE MY JOURNEY SO SMOOTH and so seamless that i cannot tell, i was amazed to see such a crisp content on RUclips for FREE which ig others paid courses even cannot deliver. Buddy you have really done a great job and this course is indeed a blessing for a beginner to kickstart with ML, thanks a ton for these sessions, god bless you.

I don't think you should standardize the data before splitting data into training set and test set (8:02:55). scikit-learn guideline tells you to split the data before applying standardization to avoid data leakage.. so if you are using scikit-learn module always follow the guideline.

Imagine not having to go to University for learning Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. A few years ago this was something people could not even think of. Thanks to the Internet era and people like Mr. Siddhardhan, this is now very much possible. Thank you and please keep up the good work. 🙂
@Siddhardhan at 6:58:36 you wrote the code cancer_data ['target'] = labels to add a new column that will have numerical values of the feature "diagnosis" but can't we just do cancer_data ['diagnosis'] = labels and that will instantly replace the values into numerical? I did that and it worked so I am wondering if there is any reason why you didn't do that? Thanks
@Siddhardhan at 6:56:25, could you explain about why you added the paranthesis for the LabelEncoder()? I did not reallyl understand it and does that same concept apply for any function that have the paranthesis as well like scaler.fit() for example?
Hello Siddhar, thankyou for such an informative lecture. I have a question, how can we know the mathematical equations of all of these functions or algorithms?
When you are doing the train test data split, does the order of the variables affect to the split? if instead of putting X_train, X_test, Y_train, Y_test you vary that order?
it will depend with the size of the data....the training data is more 70% while the test data is about 25%, interchanging will affect the accuracy, POV
Ok guys looking on the course from top gives a feeling of an outstanding course but it was posted around 2 years ago so will it go well to learn the things from this course right now?
