Brooooo, now that I've watched a few of your videos. And have picked up on your love for atmosphere, and musicality you need to check out 'Mark Knopfler & Emmylou Harris - Our Shangri-La'. The live performance on youtube is amazing. While you're at it, check out Heart's cover version of Stairway to Heaven (also on youtube). Dare I say, better than the original.
I love that you are crying to this song. I cry every time I listen to it. Possibly the greatest piece of music I’ve ever heard, in terms of evoking an emotional response. If you listen to the lyrics and let the music carry you away you can’t help but be moved.
I appreciate that you can express what it means to "feel" the intention of the people who made the music, and feel what they may have felt in order to be inspired to create their art. What they do is truly a gift to humanity.
This is fantastic! (I love NicknLex) Also love your justified enthusiasm. Got here cuz Phil said this was one of his more difficult tracks since they were looking for an 'In The Air Tonight' moment. Thanks for the Phil solo close too!
i absolutely love your reaction i can totally relate to how emotional this song is i get so lost in this song it just gets to my heart and soul olita Adams just staggering, just one of those songs that you very rarely have that special special feelings that only music can give you, so so beautiful what a pleasure, heart breaking ❤️
it's a perfect song in my opinion, musically and feeling wise: no one can remain untouched upon listening. it's been a permanent favorite in any playlist i've had in the past 25 years! seeing you vibing to them vibing then you wiping your tears got me hard. great video, sir!
Phil Collins was the drummer of course to which you are referring, although he only plays on half the song really. From about 3 minutes in (the big crashing bit of course). Great song, and probably my favourite TFF track.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate the positivity you spread to me and others with your comment. Thank you very much! Darron
Great video! I usually never get emotional at concerts, but I just saw TFF a couple nights ago and this song broke me. Then they played Badman’s Song right after and I nearly exploded. Such a great band.
I can't imagine the feeling of hearing this live, going right into Badman's Song! Those two back to back may be too much! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
This is so meta and so beautiful. This is what I feel listening to song reactions and. I cry to others reactions. This is one of my fave all time songs. Free her!
Isn't it cool to see people discover music you already know and love? I don't know what it is, but there's a great satisfaction there. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Much appreciated.
I loved watching the reaction to the reaction. I've seen the first reaction before, and it was great seeing the two young people who were clearly moved by the music, but then to see the guy wiping tears away on his reaction was really special, music can do this, and what great music it is. I'm in the UK, I've been a massive fan of Tears For Fears since I first hear Mad World in 1982. The Seeds Of Love album is my favourite album of all time, and much better than the critically acclaimed Songs From The Big Chair. Roland's voice is amazing, but mix that with the voice of Oleta, and you have something magical. Check out the album, it is like going on a musical adventure, my favourite track is Badman's Song, Tears For Fears really go to church on that one, and it includes Oleta. There is a song on the Tears For Fears album, Raoul And The Kings Of Spain called Me And My Big Ideas, which again has Roland and Oleta teaming up, it's not as good as Woman In Chains, but it is another amazing song.
I love that you're excited. TFF is my favorite. I've lately been obsessed with Echo & The Bunnymen though. My music obsessions go in cycles. 😆 Yesterday was Curt Smith's birthday.
Wow, these guys may be my new favorite reactors (aside from R3, of course)...they REALLY got the depth and the beauty and the expanse of this song...a classic from Roland Orzabel - his entire Raoul and the Kings of Spain album are just to be experienced! Thanks, my friend!
Loved this when it first came out and never understood how it wasn’t a gigantic hit. Was like a jump in music sophistication. Has anyone done a reaction video of Curt and his teenage daughter doing Mad World?
at first i wasn’t sure if i was going to watch your video! (Thinking watch a re-action video was a silly gimmick) But, glad i did you know your music major respect 👍👍👍❤️👍👍👍👍
The great thing is, I just showed by wife, my watching you, watching them, listening to Tears for Fears...am loving your zest for this stuff R3. I think I'll subscribe, thanks very much ;-)
No doubt a great song. Im kind of glad they arent watching the video too. Definitely in my top 10 for Tears for Fears. Although im not a big fan of rhe last minute or 2 of the song...the first 3 minutes are amazing Top 8. Shout Pale shelter Working hour Start of a breakdown Mothers talk Change Woman in chains Mad world
Definitely good to hear more TFF coming our way. Maybe find another take on Sowing the Seeds as well, in my opinion their absolute best. Also, this won't help the channel, but if you haven't checked out some of their concert recordings playing alongside a full orchestra, do yourself a favor and find some.
dude forget about reacting to reactions, just pick some great songs you love and react to the videos. You physically demonstrate what we feel when listening to so many of these songs
Thanks for dropping by! More Tears for Fears on the way soon!

Impossible to listen to this song without shedding a tear.
