Very nice! I love the idea of using the bamboo for the front. It completely change the look of that. As well as changing the legs. That brought everything up-to-date. Thank you for showing us.
Thanks I love it, I wasn’t expecting the surprise at the end you just gave me a solution to the little problem I had since I moved in to my new home the movers broke the 3 foot of my chest of drawers I had to remove the last one and I have been trying to figure out what to do as bottom is also damaged but the way you attach the gold foot just complete my one year thought thank you 🙏❤
This is the first of your videos I’ve ever watched. I’ve subscribed and will be back for more inspiration whenever you post new videos. Your work is beautiful and your attention to detail is remarkable. Love, love, love!
Aww thanks for this sweet comment Laura!! ❤️ Love that you enjoyed the vid, especially the drawer conditioning!! It’s such a nice final touch for real wood pieces 😊
I love hitting up Ace Hardware to check their oops paints because they frequently have Benjamin Moore high end paints. I love working with Benjamin Moore paints! High end paints make a difference. Tip: you can make interior paint into chalk paint with a little water and plaster of Paris. Then you don’t have to pay like $40 for a quart . You can get a gallon for that same price or cheaper if you grab a miss tint
I thought i had learned everything through youtube about flipping. You taught me some valuable tips. Thank you i really like your attention to detail. This dresser looks wonderful. I subscribed. Good work
Hey Kathryn, thanks for the super thoughtful comment and appreciate the sub! ❤️ I'd love to know what you learned from the video - it's a great reminder to me to make sure I'm talking about those things more so other folks can learn from them too! 😊
First tip would be to research what you have. She even has the metal plate identifying the brand... this should have been restored, or in its original state, she should have just sold it for $200-300 and called it a day.
First time here. I saw in the thumbnail your smiling sweet face and thinking you are a teenager or a young adult. I didn't expect much, honestly. As a beginner myself in refinishing furniture I am always in search for nice project to get some inspiration and how to info. But this was so well presented and turned out so nice! Very modern but classy as well. Chapeau. Keep being yourself. You got a new subscriber. 😊
Yes I did 😂 It helps keep the paint tub clean and mess free! Though full transparency I've been having a harder time with this technique lately - the bag keeps ripping while it's inside the bucket. So I've stopped doing it that way for a bit.
Wow! What a pro-- super expert skills, well-presented, straight to the point, clear and concise. Just subscribed, looking forward to more of your videos. Thanks! and very well done 🏆👏 Beautiful results
This is the sweetest comment ever 🥲❤️ you’re too kind!! Thank you so much for this! I love heading your feedback. So happy to have you here, and looking forward to putting more videos out soon! 😊
Hi Bridget! Can you please help me with these questions? - How to choose sandpaper grit for regular sanding, sanding for the wash effect, and smooth out after painting? -How to take the dust off if we do not have a vacuum? Thanks
Hi there! For sanding you're generally always going to wanna work your way up to finishing with 220 grit. Start with a lower grit like 80 if you're having a really hard time cutting through the surface, but typically I start with 120/150 and work up to 220. After you've finished painting don't use anything more abrasive than a brown paper bag or else you'll leave scratch marks. There's not much you can do about the dust if you don't have a shop vac. You can get one pretty cheap second-hand though usually!
Thanks so much!! That's actually a common misconception - drawers will never stick even when spraying them inside unless you're spraying it on wayyyy too thick or something. In which case you'd have drip marks and lots of other problems too haha. But I've never run into it personally!
Hi, liked the outcome of the dresser and wanted to try. Could you please post link for the paint color you used here. Did not see that in the list of items posted in description below video
Hi Rajani, thanks so much! I just replied to your comment on another vid - unfortunately this is the same Oops Paint color as that other dresser 😢 Like I said though, I did find that "Cream Puff" by Behr is a super close color match! I like to get it in their interior line, Premium Plus will be fine as long as you prep and seal properly, and I get it in a Satin finish.
@@buildingbridget thank you so much for checking and replying to my question. Sure would you be able to share a link for that home depot closet cream puff color if possible?
Hi Bridget- You have inspired me! Question when you say sand b/t coats; did you do 2 paint coats and then the top coats? Or 1 paint coat and then top coats?
Hi Sharon! I didn't seal the metal legs after spraying cuz they really didn't need it. The Rustoleum spray paint I use isn't supposed to need a top coat.
You absolutely CRUSHED that flip girl! Go ahead with your bad self!!!!

The green SOS pads work well to sand between coats too and they are soft enough to get around detailing
now that was inspiring! thanks for showing your way, especially the way you conditioned the interior drawers.
