- Three short clips from series one of the Fast Show from around 1994. The clips feature Simon Day and Mark Williams as two painters on a bridge with Day telling anecdotes to Williams. Please note: I DO NOT OWN THE COPYRIGHT TO THESE CLIPS AND AM UPLOADING THEM UNDER FAIR USE.

Paul Whitehouse mentioned in a video somewhere that Simon Day was one of the few who pretty much always managed to make him crack.

The orange story was the first joke I remember telling. I was very young, maybe 8 or 9. Told it at dinner at my friends parents house... all was going well until... ‘could he f**k!’

The fast show was brilliant, way ahead of its time and hasn’t been bettered in my opinion. Little Britain wasn’t half as funny.

In the old days, the BBC would not allow the 'F' word on television.
Daniel Williamson they would in 1994. Cutting it off is part of the joke.
@@MontytheHorse There was one sketch in Series 1 which a character cussed the 'F' word, but it was censored in the broadcast and it was uncensored on the DVD.
