FYI: When a vehicle is Stunned, it takes two pins and goes down. The StuG got away with a cheat. And when the mortar hit the truck, you roll against its “armor” of six. Soft skins don’t have reduced values for top, sides or rear. The roll of 6+2 PEN meant only 1 hit to the vehicle. But open topped adds 1 to the damage roll so the following 1 would be a 2 and the truck is immobilized. With d3 pins +1 for the immobilized result.
They are totally different games. Not really similar at all except both use the same models. Chain of Command is more like a WW2 platoon level simulation. Much more realistic. Bolt Action is a fun fast paced game that happens to be set in WW2. Both are great games.
genuine question: why do you base two man teams together? is for aesthetic reasons or in-game functionality? thanks. great channel best battle reports on youtube
A nice looking board. Perhaps you could replay it using Chain of Command and then undertake a comparison as part of your series of short 'tactics' videos.
The only time you can consolidate into a building is when you attack a unit that occupies a building. If you win, you can consolidate into the building. He could have gone into the building in this case. (around 36:30)
Another enjoyable and brutal game of Bolt Action! That set up definitely contributed to the feel of the game, really immersive looking.
Amazing table and excellent battle report!
Wow, fantastic looking battle, the board looks amazing, great figures, well done gents. Loving the content, thank you

Great board and miniatures. Well done.
Great game and battle report. Love the table. Keep up the awesome content guys
Nice report, but some weird outcomes. I always enjoy watching you guys play. As far as WW2 rules, I think CoC makes more sense.
Really cool batrep
I would love some details on the table.
So! WHAT IS MAIN DIFFERENCE between ...COC AND BOLT ACTION ??!! IM very interested !

Great game as always. Who makes the buildings? Thanks.
They are a mix of Sarrisa and 4ground

Aidan Cafferty both really. I like the way it looks, and makes them easier to pick out and move.
Great stuff!
Andre has scored a brilliant victory as a German
Christopher Nelson andre was due 😄
Great video! But doesn't the sniper get to pick it's target when it inflicts a casualty?
Yes he does. We probably messed it up.
@@tabletopcp all good bud, your board and minis rock!
GReat terrain!
You have nice Battlereports. But I always see your colored Base markers for your NCO. Where you get them?
They were part of a conan kickstarter a while ago. Got them off Ebay. Haven't seen them for a while though sadly
Bolt action in not a bad game but I think it needs a force morale rule like CoC has. Good game guys.
It could do with some changes. I am secretly working on a CoC/BA hybrid that combines the best of both games.
So I assume deployment points will be used in your hybrid.
ostrowulf definitely
