Just a heads up. None of your reserve units should have been able to come in from the right side like that. Your table edge is your quarter not the whole side of the table.
Loved this Bat Rep, do you have a Fallschirmjager army? I'd love to see them on the table. I'm really new to the game and I have set myself a target of a 1000pt tournament and writing my first list is difficult.
i got alot stuff from this game boltaction but i fail to see a strategy behind it its just luck if you play germans with the tow mg42 rule you allways win in my opinion any idears on that ? i fail to see a strategy to really win its just move abit with the germans and everyone will die from your infantry squads with two mg42 coz they will never walk again after you hit them one time and the pin rain they get is almost funny almost any idears on that ? tip? is flames of war better for tactics or is this table top just luck ?
An interesting game. But the dice God's must not like you both. All those Fubars and failed checks. And the bad due rolls in general. Thanks for the vid
@@tabletopcp Hate to hear that, since I have a lot of unlisted videos on my channel as well. Popped up in my YT suggested videos after watching your Sharps Practice report on the Road to Sterling
@@tabletopcp Cool, thanks! That's kind of the impression I've gotten from watching yours and others' vids. I have a *bunch* of rule sets, including BA and CoC, but really only played I Ain't Been Shot, Mum a couple of times. That's actually an enjoyable game, the card activation is kinda cool. Now that I've gotten enough 1/72nd scale stuff painted up, I will finally get around to some CoC in the next week or so.
Well, that was a crazy played game! Yes, bazooma man gets a medal. I dont follow the mechanics, but some parts seemed a lil odd. Steve needs to update his force for 1945 and not 1939...need BA 64, and maybe a T-34. Looking forward to the next game for the 12 days off thingy.
@@redmist1122 I think his most expensive unit was probably one of the veteran SMG squads, neither of which did anything in the game. My most expensive was the sherman who also didnt do much.
@@tabletopcp Was thinking overnight, you can adjust the scenario a bit to match something from the "Monuments Men" movie with the Americans racing the Soviets for stolen art stuff...
Looks like a really fun game. As they say Bolt Action happens. Enjoyable as ever. Thanks.
Great battle report guys! Strange dice roles also, but fantastic looking figures and board.... thanks for sharing
Cool video, nice to see this rare and interesting match--up.
Tabletop Generals thanks Jens. Bolt Action is the only game I feel ok about having non historical matchups. A USMC Vs SS would be interesting.
It's always fun to watch you guys play.
Great battle report. Always enjoy your videos. Very cool.
thank you again
Is the church building a michael’s wooden house that you modified?
Now that game was nuts, with all the failed test rolls and fubar rolls

Yes, in close combat you keep going if you draw until one side wins!

Also where did you get the pin markers from?

fdsfggr I don’t think so. Germans lose all the time. There is some luck involved but also some strategy.
Was the Hand to hand fighting at44:00 played correctly?
As far as I know. This was long time ago when we maybe knew the rules better 😄

Where did you guys get the pin markers?
scott everroad a company called Charlie Foxtrot
You can tell by all the missed rolls that neither group wanted to fight. You need a handshake miniature :)
Andrew Greenberg it was pretty crazy! How did you find this video if ii May ask? I thought I had it unlisted. Just curious.
@@tabletopcp Hate to hear that, since I have a lot of unlisted videos on my channel as well. Popped up in my YT suggested videos after watching your Sharps Practice report on the Road to Sterling
Andrew Greenberg interesting. I did not know that was possible.
@@tabletopcp Double check, but I am pretty sure it is listed as public. Did you make it part of a public playlist?
Andrew Greenberg oh yeah that is probably what it was. It is in a playlist. Thanks!
Always a good time! A quick question--now that you've played a bunch of games of each, between this and CoC, which do you prefer?
madDdog 67 I prefer CoC. Bolt Action is still a fun game we like to play but CoC is a more tactical game with many more choices to make.

redmist1122 that BA 10 has fought from
Barbarossa to the Elbe! He leads a charmed life!
@@tabletopcp I guess...licky bastards! Also Steve could have fielded a Lend-Lease M4 too. What was Steve's biggest point buy compared to yours,
