Thanks for the tutorial. Why is it straight on the outer seam? Aren't we supposed to find the middle point on the crotch line, draw line vertically, and divide leg opening equally using that as reference?
Question: @1:36 you stated your hip was 43"........then at 1:55 when calculating your crotch width you said your hip was 44. just so I understand you added 1" ease to your hip which is 43" that makes it 44". do you use the final measurement of your hip with the additional 1" to calculate the crotch width? example hip 40"+1" ease=41". so would I use 41" as my hip measurement to calculate my crotch width?
I'm just watching this 😊 but I'm a bit confused about the band. Will a 2" band not add to the depth of the crotch? If your crotch depth is 10" the addition of the 2" band will make the crotch 12". Please clarify for me. Thanks a lot.
But she never mentioned that she removed 2 inches for the crotch. I thought so at first and just decided to follow every thing she said. Now i have cut the short using exactly what she taught 😢@ezechioma4186
Pls ma you said the length of you short was 20"but you didn't add extra for the down fold or are you going to cut that one separately?? Pls why did you come up by 1" at the side of the front waist line?? 🙏🙏Pls help a sis😩

This is my method of cutting a short. The one you are talking about is another method.

Yes 12 is the full length crotch for the front...the 2 was minus for band and was returned or added to make a full crotch.. hope it's clear now?
