The sign of a true and experienced professional, Jerry knew just when to stop so it was a quick and easy retrieval, where a lot of us would have tried to have backed and filled (hoping the boss wasn't watching lol,..) and ended up completely in the "you know what" ! Its always a good day at DP's when Jerry is on site.
Looks to me like Matt went above and beyond the usual call of duty filming in cold, sleet, hail and rain. Then he also got his truck stuck. He was definitely on the Express struggle bus ride. I gotta think that's the first time in decades Jerry got a dozer stuck not once but twice and he didn't even cuss up a storm. Definitely an entertaining video Mike.
The wide tracks are like my first 4x4 pickup truck I got many years ago. I got stuck in it several times before I figured out it’s limits. Everything has limits no matter who you are. But your not really stuck if you can get it out. Another awesome video.
For being in the kind of dirt Jerry is usually pushing it is amazing he doesn't get stuck more often. But since he is so good at his job he makes it look like no problem. You are still a hell of an operator no matter what equipment you are driving. Good video.
What a day! It's a testament to the crew that never once did anyone lose their cool! Or at least on camera😁 I love this channel and will truly be sad when I get through watching all the video's and have to wait like everyone else😂 for a new video!
Oh boy... what a hillarious action packed video! The Aerial shot looks awesome and a job well cleared! All it needs now to complete the job is to get the 140 stuck!
I’m a regular viewer of your channel Mike. You may have felt that it was a disaster day, but it just shows how challenging your work can be. Being someone who has never sat in a dozer or digger let alone operated either, it’s impressive how you all manage to deal with each problem as it arises. Well done from across the pond to all 3 of you. 🇬🇧
Experience says “ the first thing you do when you’re in a hole and need to get out, is to stop digging.” Way to go Jerry, experience generally wins the day. Good to see Jerry back at it. Less than ideal conditions DP. thanks for the ride along.
This was a great video . Brushing can be a very dangerous job sometimes, especially when it's wet and muddy . The only dozer that I have got stuck was an 850 like your old dozer in a big mud pile that I was tearing apart and spreading it out all different directions, so that it would dry out . But when your dealing with mud, just watch out and maybe expect anything . I saw a guy get an old straight track D8 stuck in mud up over the tracks and level with the floor and water running around on the floor board a little bit . You all were dealing with some really big trees on that job and water and mud . So don't give Jerry a hard time about getting stuck, with what he was dealing with there. I will see you all later, take care and stay safe and keep on playing in the dirt there . 🤗👍💖💫
A little dirt in my coffee this morning is always a good thing... Broken hose, fire won't start, Jerry getting stuck... But it all comes together at the end of the day. Couldn't ask for a better video! Excellent video, looking forward to the next! 😎👍
Great part two, what a mess to clean up. Hopefully that fire is warmer up the area😂 Love Jerry’s words, he’s putting that 850J through it’s paces, as a test operator, (test pilot in my world) he knows what needs to be done💪👍🇺🇸
Way to stick with it guys.......And that weather is why I live where I live. We have to hunker down for a few hurricanes per year but man, I don't miss that crap!
Impressive work by all.with conditions that y’all were working in I’m surprised that only jerry got stuck.that was some mess.great outcome of course.just do what you gotta do and carry on.👍👍👍😎😎😎
And to think, MIKE (DP), YOU weren't even in the "120" but that '140' and YOUR machine skills coupled with JERRY and his (MODEL "J" for JERRY) got not only the "mission accomplished" but also a 'Handsome Video' for all. Gentlemen, AGAIN I have to say, "GREAT JOB"!!!
Jerry wasn't really stuck, he just found the limitations and stopped, a sign of a top notch operator !!! 😎😎😎 Matt got the brunt of the lovely weather, I think he really enjoyed the hailstone facial 🤣🤣 Good days graft by all 👍💪💰
Be careful loading fires with the excavator...I had to replace all the hydraulic lines that go from the cab to the engine bay( all the lines for both joysticks) because someone was loading a fire with it and it sucked an ember into the airbox and caught the excavator on fire..it burnt alot of stuff but getting all those lines run down underneath the cab was horrible...I just found your channel and I've been watching your videos for over 3 hrs lol good job from up here in Maine 👍
Wow what a transformation in one day! Good old Jerry. The 850J making him have a break. Only two. The last one he had a cuppa tea! waiting for you. But it was a big tree.
Hi from uk Mike and crews👋👍 great job getting this bit cleared and ready to vanish👌 and trust jerry 🙈😂 the guy who can blade out ponds no probs but get stuck on a damp day😂💪 fair play second one he got stuck in ditch behind fallen tree on a hill but great job guys 👌 and 160 held its own and wrose to the occasion💪💪 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
The best part about Jerry getting stuck is he knows when to stop! Some operators would just keep digging a hole to the point where recovery becomes a major issue rather than just a quick pull.
With the extra wide track pads I did not expect that machine to get stuck that's surprised even me I think Jerry deserves a barbecue dinner and celebration of doing what could not be done I love it keep up the good work I'm proud of all of you including Jerry that's right hang in there Jerry
You know what they say...when it rains it pours. I'm pretty impressed with those new shoes. I can't remember how much wider those are vs. the pads that you replaced, but they sure did make a difference. A few times in the earlier video I thought oh no, that ain't good, lol. Surprising how well she stayed afloat. I mean, that's a heavy dozer. Without the shanks, the ripper didn't look to be a hindrance at all.
Ya know my first thoughts are if Jerry gets stuck I would last about 32 seconds running through that crap! Great operator skills today by all...Well except for Matt getting the saw blade stuck..LOL
DP I feel that the decision of putting on the wider plates will pay off in the long run. You have to take the chance to see what your limits are and I feel that Jerry is the person to test the limits on that piece of equipment. The 850 is a MONSTER in anyone's book LOL...
Those dozers look all big and tough and they are. But that makes the edge sharp. Instead of being kind of stuck they go straight to buried unless the operator feels the first slip and stops.
@4:56 - wonder if you could mount a pully on the chain saw and use it to winch the 850J out? With about 100 snatch blocks and a mile of cable, it might work!
We knew it happened a while back on facebook but NYA posted the trial run of Bubba yesterday so DP now looks like he's posting stuff almost as it happens!! Next someone will be telling us Kleeman finished the yacht in 2019 and is just hanging out posting the videos and MBTS sent the pickup to the crusher in 2016 five years after the rebuild!
@Glen Jones : Not even close buddy... During Matt's rant about the weather he literally said, "... on April 10th". Today is June 10th. That's 2 months in just about anybodies book I know. Except for those 'shorts' that Mike puts up here, he will never post anything 'as he is doing it'. And if you haven't figured it out yet, it's because he doesn't like to be told how to do his job. Notice on a lot of other channels how people in the comments can't keep from giving stupid advice on this and that and tell the people what they are doing wrong about everything. Well, Mike has solved that shit by just being 2 months behind in posting the work he does. It's extremely rare in these comments anybody is trying to 'give advice'. When it happens you can be certain it's from a newby on the channel.
Wow can't believe Jerry got the 850j stuck I bet you he was cusing heaps but must admit he's one awesome operator and you guys are lucky you are not frozen to death
Glad to see Jerry out of winter hibernation.
The sign of a true and experienced professional, Jerry knew just when to stop so it was a quick and easy retrieval, where a lot of us would have tried to have backed and filled (hoping the boss wasn't watching lol,..) and ended up completely in the "you know what" ! @ 18:20 aww Matt as sweet as you are you aint gonna melt from the rain you aint sugar, so just grin and bare it, LOL.
Jerry... The Myth, the Man, the Legend. How would one know limits without testing them? Great video!
You hit the nail on the head bud! Can’t know what your capable of til you fall off the horse, get back on, and try again
You got it
Dirty harry said a man's got to know his limitations
@@Steelbackuk yes he did.
He definitely put that 850J to work. I think that's the hardest it's ever worked!
One expert extracting another. Way to go Jerry, you gave Mike a glorious moment to relish! 😂🤣😂✌🏻
The wide tracks are like my first 4x4 pickup truck I got many years ago. I got stuck in it several times before I figured out it’s limits. Everything has limits no matter who you are. But your not really stuck if you can get it out. Another awesome video.
Jerry is such a nice guy. Throwing that dozer off into a hole to keep yall from looking bad. 🤣 Happens to us all
The least expensive equipment on the job would have kept both times from happening. The chainsaw. Who cares how much fuel is wasted? lol
TY TY
9n7m
@@d500mag2 chainsaw doesn't pull the stumps, that takes equipment. So either way the machine had to go there.
@@JCrook1028 will a chainsaw separate tree from stump?

Agree
Jerry said he had to find the limitations of those new pads. Then he went to work. Lol God bless

Now that was priceless! Jerry getting stuck was bound to happen.
Great video Michael
Jerry is a true all around operator, getting the machine stuck to take the heat off others. What a stand up guy. My hats off to you sir.
Poor Jerry 🤣 goes to show even a legend can have an oops now and then I love how the guys in your circle bust each other
Jerry just doesn't know the meaning of QUIT, the man still loves a challenge !!

Well done guys.. Rain Snow and mud.. That Thumb is frustrating as heck. Can't wait for the next portion on this farm.
Ain’t you glad Jerry was riding around and saw a dozer that wasn’t moving and decided to give you a little help.
This was a great video . Brushing can be a very dangerous job sometimes, especially when it's wet and muddy . Greetings from Denmark
Not market here for this little if wood
The 850j got a wake up call this morning.. Jerry was working it hard but it just kept asking for more 😆. Great video Mike
A little dirt in my coffee this morning is always a good thing...
Broken hose, fire won't start, Jerry getting stuck...
But it all comes together at the end of the day.

Great work and well that’s one way to get a machine stuck 😂. Thanks for taking us along take care
Thanks for watching
the one thing i love about the bobcat is the fan really blows out the side and can real get a fire going.

It happens as funny as it maybe (Jerry) of all the people. Great video Mike thank you.
Mike Matt and Jerry great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks for watching
Jerry is experienced enough to know when to stop and wait for help. He could of easily buried it and made it harder to get out.
Good job for the conditions y'all was working in

He didn't get stuck too bad., looking at the size of them stumps, thay can hide a doozer.nice job.😳👍
April 10th? This has even been a wet spring in Oklahoma but we're getting heat now in the 3rd week of June heat index of 100° in Central Oklahoma.
The 140 made it look easy pulling the dozer out both times. Take care
DP next time can we get a cover for the camera. To block the rain / hail from getting on the lense. Not to worried about Matt. Lol God bless

ROCK & ROLL TREE REMOVAL WITH HEAVY EQUIPMENT.
At any time will you be catchin up on videos. We're mid June nearly and your videos still from like March. Or is this the new norm?
Absolutely not covered this several times and have a complete podcast about it on my other channel s few points form perfect

And to think I was looking at a D7 with 30 inch tracks last weekend, everybody said it would float, I guess you be proved that theory wrong!
Good morning DP and crew. Time to get Jerry on the stuck list 😅🙂😅. Can it get better just loving it 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲😂😂🤣😢
Just another day of having fun on the job. 😁 Great video boys👍

Excavator worked perfectly
bet a capstand winch would have yarded that dozer out of there also.....
Everybody needs a Jerry in their life
Always glad to see Jerry he gets it done with a smile and some laughs.
getting stuck is ok as long as your having fun. nice job fellas. cheers.

April 10th sleet and snow video on June 10th gotta love it.
Love your channel you guys make one hell of a team 👍😊😊😊

Jerry said , "So that how it feels to get stuck That's never happened before! Thought the dozer was broke
,nice job felles!and looks like t was jerry's Monday poor man! But what I saw the j with the bigger feet pushes straight er too
Wow can't believe Jerry got the 850j stuck I bet you he was cusing heaps but must admit he's one awesome operator and you guys are lucky you are not frozen to death
I don't know much about skidding logs but would a skidded help?
No
Poor Jerry,he got setup on that second one,he still Superman the dozer man!
That be pretty cool making a collaboration together 👌🏼🤩
Man, being that embedded in the ground and then just crawling back out. Was he actually stuck? :P
C & C's still got that John Der 250 excavator, it should have your name on it!
Perseverance! Great job guys..
Do you need a burn permit. I don’t think we can burn a clearing site in Loudoun county VA.
No just call it in
Great video guy's, love watching.
Great video buddy 👍
