I grew up listening to this to sleep in primary school. I’m now 18, at uni, working. Yet I’m back here listening to this. I hope everyone listening to this video and reading comment finds as much happiness from it as I did. ❤
I’m in the exact same position 😂 shout out to all my people who had this cd back in the day
@@oscartaylor6079 the car rides were legendary with this in my ears
ok how the fuck did we all have the exact same thought at the exact same time?????
I used to listen to this audiobook when I was a kid, I would listen to this in my dad's car, and while I was in bed, our favourite line was when the way that the man with the green crystals pronounced "sugar"
i grew up with this audiobook and having moved to uni, i realised how much i missed it, so i went looking for it and here you’ve uploaded it ;-; bless you for putting this on the internet, brings back so many memories
It makes me so unbelievably happy that you have uploaded this. I have been searching for it for years. You've made me so happy.
My god I loved this audiobook when I was a kid! I’d listen to this in my dad’s car, and Sponge and Spiker singing ‘who wants to be a millionaire, WE DO!’ was by far my favourite line
Best recording of James and the giant peach!
I’ve been looking for this for so long, I used to love listening to this on my CD player. Thank you so much for uploading this
Thanks for uploading, I loved this version when I was younger!
Any time. Thank you for subscribing. :-)
I love this
This was one of mine and my brother's favourites when we were kids. It's weerd because I recognise Timothy West's voice now where as I didn't back then. Can't wait until my neece is old enough to listen to it. She'll love it.
I'm sure she will. :-)

I Remember Being SO AFRAID OF THE CLOUD PEOPLE PART

I read this at school 🏫
I don't understand how Roald Dahl's name was not on the side of the cover - it actually is if you look at the imprint VERY closely.

This showed up in my RUclips recommendations for some reason, and I love it, lol. This is so adorable! I'm listening to it while I draw. :) Thanks for sharing!

Wait a minute, New Dream James and the Giant Peach Collection; 1 Original James and the Giant Peach Junior Novel, 1 James and the Giant Peach Audio Drama in Tape Cassette, 1 James and the Giant Peach Movie in VHS, 1 James and the Giant Peach Movie in DVD, and 1 James and the Giant Peach Musical in CD.
I love this! I have nostalgia now… But a good one! I still use it for when I have trouble sleeping. Because of school and stress and stuff and also, my heartbeat keeps going fast everyday even when I’m bored and stuff. Also, do you have Billy and The Minpins? I love it! Thank you! :-)
I'm glad I could help. Hang in there. School life is only temporary and I'm sure you're doing very well.
Sadly I do not. There is only a limited amount of these dramatisations. This is the complete series which you can find on my playlist. Feel free to listen to them as well.
@@foxteen8721 I have to have private tutoring lessons for math and English
@@foxteen8721 but apart from that, I’m doing well thank you :-)
@@cleocatra9013 That's good. We just gotta solider on when the going gets tough.
@@foxteen8721 Ok. Thank you for the advice Fox Teen! :-)
The version I had was read by Andrew Sachs
When you name your kids Sponge and Spiker you’re definitely asking for them to turn out bad , also why is it seem like the nicest parents always have the most horrible relatives lol
Me too! I love his impression of Aunt Sponge. 😂
Nature works it wonders.
Funny thing is James mother was there little sister and although he dl t ever get her actually name in the 1999 movie she’s beautiful and the aunts are well not as beautiful as his mother
Maybe James sent centipede to the mail.😂
Thought of a great picture that could be sweet
Do share.
Only one just myself

I was wondering why the silkworm from the book was omitted?
Can you post the Matilda one I love the woman’s voice thar reeds it x
It's already uploaded. 🙂
Do you have the BFG read by Geoffrey Palmer? As in the one most dramatised with a cast? I used to fall asleep to it every night on tape
I certainly do. Just go onto my channel and you should find it very promptly. It's my second video, so it should be at the bottom of the list. 🙂 And the narrator is Nigel Lambert. Yet Palmer did read an audiobook on it.
Who was James Saxon?
27:13 does she say the n word.
'Nincompoop'. A British insult similar to idiot.
It's too secthy
In what way?
No offence, but I am scared you will come in my window at night.
