Love the real life mishaps and working through them. Thank you for being real. Love these index ideals. Just getting started with mushroom planners. Love it!
Oh yeah.. I have loads of real life moments. 😂 Punched the wrong side on my printed horizontal a few weeks back while filming. lmao. That was fun. I absolutely love discbound planning. I will never use anything else again.
Thanks! Great tutorial! 1st time catching one of your video's. I wanted to let you know that, you can order one of those disc punches from high end stationery online store named Levenger. They're not that expensive when they go on sale. I got the single page punch one a few years ago when they had a sale. They have 3 different ones available from under $25 (if I remember correctly) and up, when not on sale. I know the way you're doing is is a lot more cost effective, but if you make these a lot, it may be worth it checking it out for time savings. They were the original makers, (if memory serves me) had the copyright for the Circa disc system. Now you can get the disc system supplies in office supply stores. I worked there in the home office in So Florida for a short time a few years ago (no hard feelings for the company itself). I hope that helps. ❤
Thanks! Are the levenger punches the same length as the HP ones? I have some paper I purchased that was punched with either the Arc or Levenger punch and the stems of the mushrooms are too short. I have a Cropodile Punch that I use too and I love that thing. lol So worth the money I spent. Granted, I got it with a coupon at Michaels but it was still spendy.
@@TheEnchantedPlanner Oh so sorry, I really don't know for sure. I moved not long ago and actually my punch is still in storage at the moment, so I couldn't tell you for sure.
I’m late to this video, first of yours that I’ve watched, so maybe you know this by now… with any paper, it has a grain direction. If you try to fold it against the grain, it will be much more difficult to fold a straight line. If you fold it with the grain, it is much easier. Hope that helps someone out there. Love these bookmarks. Beautiful. ❤
@@TheEnchantedPlanner yeah. I’ve decided to skip the mini next year. I have realized I need my personal planner at work and am not as good at transcribing between portable and work and home. So I may go to one Frankenplanner or home + work and bring mine to work
Me too... I barely used the one I have for this year. I keep buying them for "on the go" but I don't really leave the house much. 🤣 so... no on the go. Yeah... sounds like you need a proper planner at work. Will keep tings a bit more organized for ya.
Oh ma sistah...I already make mine from the free HP wrap...cuz your girl's cheap like that! I also make "boxes" from the outline where the stickers used to be. It seems that I never have enough boxes!
🤣 you're not cheap.... you're thrifty. Sounds far better... 🤣 Yeah, I save all of my empty sheets of boxes with the intnetion of making them into boxes. I never get there though. However, if I'm ever stuck and needing boxes... I'm covered. lol
Fun idea. I need to grab some scrapbook paper - I need some dashboards for next year. Do you have a preferred brand of laminator sheets or does the generic Amazon work?
I bought these ones amzn.to/3X4Xr1m and I'm pretty happy with them. They're actually better than the name brand ones I bought years ago. Which, I finally found... after I bought the new ones of course 🤣 but I really like the Amazon ones. Scrapbook paper-- super versatile. Those packs of paper at Michaels are a good buy too.
I do leave a border but it's pretty skinny. I have had them come apart when I make it too small... so lessons learned there. What I do find, is where the punched holes are, those come apart. Which is annoying as there really isn't a way to leave a border in them.
Apologies. I swore I had mentioned it in the video. they are 2.75" across and 9.67" at the height of the tab. The tab length is around 1.8" across. That's for the classic size.
@TheEnchantedPlanner I know this comment is 6 months old, but I had to respond to this. Dont apologize to this rude commentor. You provided a template. If they don't want to go download it, that's their problem. They didn't have to be so rude in asking for the measurements. Thanks for sharing your way of making these. 🩷

That’s a great tip! Thanks for sharing! 😍
Yes I’ve used the packing tape method it works
Right?? It works and it's cheap. So it will fit a tight budget.
Love those!
Thanks Yvonne!
Awesome !!! I will have to try this. Thank You Reenie
You're very welcome Tracy!
Great ideas again. Thanks for sharing😊
You are so welcome!
I save and turn the plastic into dashboards - was useful to make one to fit a mini
Right?? Finding mini accessories is almost impossible.

I noticed you didn’t leave a border in the laminate , mine come apart if I don’t leave a border so would love to know how you do that 😊

@@TheEnchantedPlanner ah thank you 🙏 I only just got my laminator so thought there was a trick to it 😂 you made lovely bookmarks ❤️
Where did you purchase the paper cutter?
Michaels' I believe I used a coupon with it too. It is this one amzn.to/4e20leO
Do you know any paper like happy planners?
Hey Shelby! Yes.. I use HP 32lb Premium Paper. It's fairly close. It's this one amzn.to/49leQbN
I learned from someone else on you tube about writing down where everything is
Yes! Definitely helps
why you don't just tell us the size of the template cause we all don't have that cut out already???????????
