I'm just finding this channel and the commentary at the end on how to tell a house is haunted or not was hilarious. Honestly the funniest reaction I've seen for this show. "If it has more than one chimney? HAUNTED!"
Came across you guys purely by accident. I've watched many reactions to this show but I had lots of giggles with you guys. My favourite reaction was 9:11 I'll be heading to 1x2 now to continue watching.
Corey, I don't envy your task of guiding these boys along while not giving anything away; it's gonna be tough. And it doesn't help that Clay will miss half of it because he's too scared to watch the screen. 😉
And it has now become an anthology series. Season 2 will be based on the novel, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and will star a lot of the same actors. I’m excited. I don’t normally enjoy horror and couldn’t tell you why I even started watching season 1 in the first place, but I ended up loving it 🖤
Hell yeah this show is so good, happy you are watching it. And since you guys like Stranger Things please react to Dark on netflix whenever you are free. It's only 10 episodes as well. The series is so great but so underrated no one reacts to it and I have a feel you guys would really love it. edit. not to sound whiny but since this is standard procedure in every react channel whenever someone who have already watched a show react together with first-timers I hope you guys avoid asking him too many questions, he may unintentionally end up overexplaining and spoiling small things.
Oh I take spoilers tremendously seriously. I think the only thing I told them was which adult was which child in the past and the the oldest brother was Daario Naharis. I’m not risking missing out on some genuine reactions
She has a point about science not being an exact science. The problem is that scientists are human too, so bias, slip-ups, and sheer incompetence can easily happen and get through the rather ineffectual quality standard that is peer-review. Having blind faith in science is just as bad having blind faith in religion.
I'm mostly a skeptic, and I agree. So many things that were done in the past for "science" are seen as inhumane now. There's never black and white, only grays, and there's so much we will never know.
@@nine-vi7rw We seem to be making different points, though. I'm not talking about ethics or human experiments or whatever. I'm talking about the fallibility of scientists. They can misinterpret results, let bias cloud their judgement, and so forth. In fact, it's a historical trend that the establishment science, whatever it may be, fights hard against the theories which eventually become the standard. Germ theory was strongly rejected by the experts of its times. The discovery by Ignaz Semmelweis, that birth mortality rates would practically vanish if doctors would just wash their hands, was ignored. William Harvey was mocked by his contemporaries when he claimed that the heart pumps blood throughout the body. The list goes on. It's all good and well to talk about the scientific method, but to the layman, the only ways to form any beliefs about the facts of the world is either through their own interpretation and logic, or through "authorities." The former has plenty of problems and that goes without saying, but a lot of stock is placed in the latter, when really history shows that "authorities" love to fight anything that goes against the current, accepted theories, regardless of proof. Christ, his contemporaries fought against Svante Arrhenius when he proposed the idea that atoms could have ions. Why? Because the atom is a word of Greek origin that means "indivisible," and something that was indivisible couldn't have ions. Scientists and "authorities" aren't any better now than they have ever been. They're still just as human as before, just as likely to be biased or incompetent, and no amount of scientific method or peer review changes that.
Thanks guys for posting this. I loved it and I see you have 3 episodes posted and Imma burn through them in a minute. Hope you guys keep posting so I can watch this great show with y'all again...
Dayum sleep paralysis is the most fucked up thing. I had an episode this morning where I woke up couldnt move but heard voices and a long hand was constantly grabbing and holding on to different parts of my legs that was so messed up. Like I oculd feel a hand but not move. Thankfully I had these blindfold kinda things on to sleep so I didnt have to see "it" grabbing me.
Sweet! I was hoping y'all would do this as part of a lead-in to Halloween season, but an early surprise is still a pleasant surprise. Great choice! 😀 Edit: I keep forgetting that it's 10 episodes and not 8, so you did a good job timing this to come up to the end of October. Well done!
Actually not all states require you to disclose a murder.....some states on the flip even require you to say if people think it's haunted on top of a murder
I finished bly manner. And well i. Watching you guys watch it. Cause i wannah hear otheres opinions on it. But i 1000% like hill house more. And need to know what you think :P see what one you seem to dig more :)
Yes I do, my very first memory is the attic door opening on it's own while i was locked in time out lol - Clay, p.s. I know now it was probably a draft, but i must have been 2-4 years old
Love this show! Can't wait for the second season! It's gonna be a different horror story, but the actor who plays Luke will be in it as well as another actor from season 1 :) (Yall should react to Mindhunter btw. It's really good!!)

Dark is definitely on our radar, and you are right, but I have trust in Corey. He takes spoilers very seriously -Clay
