Hey, I just learned some special info about these CG-style engines… thought I’d share what I knew. Firstly, you can either get a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed with reverse, which I know you clearly stated in the video. But the other thing I found is that there are two model numbers that refer to different displacement sizes. The first one is 167FML, which I believe is around 197cc, which they call a 200. The other is 167FMM, which I believe is 249cc, and they call that one a 250. So when you’re browsing the web pages, I’d try to look for a picture that clearly shows the model number so you can know what you’re getting. If they list the bore and stroke, you can also go to a calculator and see the actual displacement from there. Hope this helps!
Very cool, am wanting to fix my old locked up atc 200. Just watched your other video and am pleasantly surprised to see you have a follow up video just from today. I'm considering doing the Chinese motor if my stuck motor is beyond hope.
Wow what a helpful video just being able to see the engine in real life. What carb are you running? Planning to swap this engine into my 125cc jeep go kart! A few questions: What sprockets are you running? Also what is the displacement and what are the speeds? The website says its a 200/250cc but no reverse gear) (I'm assuming this has a reverse gear) Thank you again!
Man.....not the 200x that's a classic sport bike looks like the original seat and fenders...I wish you had have made that bad boy back original..but hey you did a great job making a pure sport bike a deer hunting special edition
@@wickedoffroadmachinesI did the swap and you videos helped tremendously... I do have a question tho my clutch is super hard to pull ended up breaking my clutch handle the actual clutch on the miter seems fine just stiff which I was assuming... Any thoughts ? I'm going to try and use another clutch handle and cable if that doesn't work I'm going to do a hydraulic clutch system.
Got about 20 hours on my 200x china swap. Thing rips
Do you have the 4 speed or the 5 speed?

Do we know what these motors are modeled after? Would be nice to know if/what genuine parts fit if things fail
@ They’re modeled after the Honda CG250 style engine
@ awesome thank you
