First off an overlock and a serger are two different machines. An overlock stitches two parallel straight stitches on top and connects them with a zigzag stitch on the bottom. A serger creates the same zigzag and straight stitch combo on both sides of the fabric. While some people who sew have a serger, everyone has a sewing machine. At the time of filming my serger was old and difficult to use because of tension issues so I didn’t use it for garment construction, only seam finishes. Now that I have a new serger, that I’m slowly learning to use, there will be new content sewing clothes using it. Stay tuned 😉
Excellent video
