Your wife is so lucky she has such a handy dandy man by her side! I am going to build one of those myself in my living room. I will need corner version. Let’s hope I can pull this off 🤩
My great aunt is looking for a fireplace like this, and I would love to try and build this for her. Just wished I had all the exact measurements and a list of everything you used (as in the brick material) so I can purchase the materials. Great job!
I think you did an awesome job on the prep work. I have my own tile installation company and not a lot of people have the foresight to lay out the ledger and base their fireplace off of that.
Great job, this looks amazing 👏 Thanks for the clear video, I'm definitely going to do this myself. I want to build one that doesn't go all the way up the wall& want my TV to sit on the mantel not mounted to the wall.
Been looking at a bunch of these vids to get ideas. Digging the simplicity and look of your build. Congrats. Will probably go with a lower mantle since I want a larger TV.
Thanks buddy! That’s what I was going for. Actually we put a 65 inch TV mounted to the wall and it Was good spacing wouldn’t want to go much bigger, Atjon but then again it depends on the height of the ceilings
I would love to build this at my home. Can you give me a list of materials used? This looks very easy to do. I just need buy the materials. Thank you very much for this.
what’s kind of gray decorative facing is that stuff? ceramic tile some sort of man made material stone granite you’ve listed the tools in the description but no materials
I love how it looks. Could you give me the dimensions you used. I'm trying to replicate this in my house and mount the TV on the wall. I'm interested in knowing the measurements between the floor and the bottom glass edge of the fireplace and over all height from the floor to the top of the mantel. Thanks
I wanted to see how he brought the wiring up and did he plug it in OR hard wire it. Anyone know. I just bought one. His helper stood in front of camera at pivotal moment.
How his floor handle the install? Did you attach the boards or glue the boards? This is because vinyl or laminated floor should not have anything nailed, screwed in or glue because of the expansion that need to occur, by doing so you can void warranty. Floor might buckle up close by the area. The job is amazing!!!! Just those details.
I have a electric fireplace and I’ve been trying to do this but my vent is on the top of the fireplace and it says do not cover. So how can I place this inside a wall?
Beautiful build and fireplace! Great job! When you have time could you please list the materials and rough cost of build including the fireplace insert? Thank you so much!
So wait.. you can use construction adhesive with regular ledger panels on plywood? So why does everyone say you have to use mortar and Sheetrock? If I can do this then it would save me so much time..let me know if this lasts or if this is ok to do
Mortar works well when you are doing a whole wall and need them to tack on to keep working, I did a layer at a time and took a break in between, it might actually be quicker to mortar depending on the project. Also there’s no grout like tile or moisture concerns so plywood is fine
hi, friend! I loved your video. and I am determined to make a fireplace exactly like the one you have. And I want to ask you the following: could you tell me the exact measurement of your electric fireplace? And one more thing, the width, height and depth of the structure? This way I get a more precise idea. Thank you very much, I look forward to your response soon. greetings from Spain!
hi steven, new to the channel(love it!) quik question, how much plywood(sheet size and thickness half inch or 3 quarter or maybe one quarter did you use on this project? thanks in advance
According to others who did job says if you will use a real stone then better option is concrete boards or subfloor boards. If you will use a fake stone, veneers stone, then you can use lighter material boxing fireplace.
I have the same type electric fireplace and would be awesome if I can do this. Thank you for sharing the question is if electric fireplace die how to change insert? Hard to understand how to vdo so fast. Thanks
This fireplace has a stand that you can remove and the glass frame pops on and off so you can fasten it, there is usually a page in the instructions about mounting options
I'm curious with the first 2x4's you attached to why you put the wall why one on the left and 2 on the right? Other than that this entire video was awesome & gave me confidence to do my fireplace this weekend with my daughter.
@@GhettoGatesss hey alex stop being a pos bully your whole life and go do something helpful u reject... mr malaunrouge1969- im a handyman from vegas and the only thing i can think of is there wasnt a stud in the wall where he was putting his right side 2x4 support beam on so he had to cut a secondary 2x4 and screw it into the wall where there actually was a stud than put the right side 2x4 support next to it and screwed them together so it would be "wall mount supported". i think that was idea behind that. Mismatched socks...awesome fireplace build.
Your wife is so lucky she has such a handy dandy man by her side! I am going to build one of those myself in my living room. I will need corner version. Let’s hope I can pull this off 🤩
Really nice definitely, I was thinking about paying to get it done but after seeing your video we're going to do it ourselves. thank you!

Wow it took you only 7 minutes. Great job!
You are too clever and extremely talented! I built a corner model, but used wainscoting and painted the fireplace same color as the walls.
This is dope , wish you would’ve put the measurements for the wood and a supply list also how many packs of peel and stick?! I wanna do this so badd
My wife won't let me wear two different socks when I build things. This guy is lucky.
Daniel Yusko I only wear slip slops while building .
@Mike Fernandez Good One.

The cat inside the fireplace is too cute

Really? If you can't guess that measurements id stop right now.
What’s up with the double 2x4 on the right? Nice video.
the cat - lol ... too funny ... looks great - terrific job
Beautiful
I wanted to see how he brought the wiring up and did he plug it in OR hard wire it. Anyone know. I just bought one. His helper stood in front of camera at pivotal moment.
At the start of the video you can see that an outlet is within his structure
Nice!!
Thanks ❤
Great job 👍 love it
Lucky her! she has a hubby who is handy!!!

Thanks!! It is actually floating on the floor in case I ever want to take it down
Looks nice. Good job 👍
Beautiful!
I would not say that's "easy build", but I love it!
I have a electric fireplace and I’ve been trying to do this but my vent is on the top of the fireplace and it says do not cover. So how can I place this inside a wall?
I bought a used wall mounted electric fire place , can I build it in a wall ??? Great video
That’s really cool. Love it love it. Definitely sharing this with my husband. A great 👍 diy and it isn’t permanent and moveable.
Wow great job!!
Nice job👌
Beautiful build and fireplace! Great job! When you have time could you please list the materials and rough cost of build including the fireplace insert? Thank you so much!
A fireplace is my dream,,, wish I would accomplish soon
I wonder if this type of project is suitable for an electric fireplace that get the heat out from the top area as this part says DO NOT HEAT
Great job . What are the measurements of this fireplace
Www Nice this vidéo
My fireplace blows from the top so how could I do this and how did you plug it all in without it being noticed

Such a professional job an inspiring for my own fireplace makeover!
Don't you need to have immediate access to the outlet for safety?
Great job!!
Should trim basemolding so it returns nicely into mantel
Most crucial step is quality management: 04:56
Bro I need your help..please guide me about the stones that you used for this fire place..hope to hear from you soon..Thanks
I like this.. but what about all your TV cables.. what if u need to replace your TV or cable box etc... u need to uninstall the fireplace everytime?
We ended up mounting it all behind the tv so we could access it

Two different socks. Now you can’t unsee it.

Awesome ! Total cost please ? Thx
Looks amazing but where does the hot air come out?
This fireplace vents out the front so it was ideal for this
hi steven, new to the channel(love it!) quik question, how much plywood(sheet size and thickness half inch or 3 quarter or maybe one quarter did you use on this project? thanks in advance
It appears from what I can see to be quarter inch sheets

VERY COOL!
Do you have the exact measurements? I would love to do this myself
What kind of stone did u use and where can I find it?
I'm curious with the first 2x4's you attached to why you put the wall why one on the left and 2 on the right? Other than that this entire video was awesome & gave me confidence to do my fireplace this weekend with my daughter.

💞🔥 *Wow Awesome Job!!! I Absolutely Love It!!!* 🔥💞 What Was The Cost Of All The Material & Supplies To Make It?
Awesome video, did you create an access panel or door to get to the outlet?
I guess the fire place just pops out when needed.
Good job!!!! I've installed decoresin EPS panels :-)
Wondering how you attached the mantel?
