Awesome job out there! Your excitement is contagious! Good videos take a lot of time and editing, so we (all your viewers) appreciate it and we thank you!
Hey thank you Eric for sharing your trips to your claim with us. You do have an amazing claim! I wish you heavy pans and easy picking. Good luck and enjoy every minute of your time out there. Which I know you do! Lol
Hi Eric, great vid, nice gold & cool nature. I think that was a Dragon Fly nymph you saw underwater. Looks like you have a lot fun mining. Ospreys are cool, I saw one snag a big Largemouth bass out of the water once, took him awhile to get up in the air with it but he did. Keep up the great work on the vids. Thx, Serg
Thanks Serg. There are dragonfly nymphs in the river too but this creature is different. Its feet are kind of sticky. I thought it was a hellgrammite at first so I had to look it up. I hope to get an osprey catching a fish on camera. Thanks again for watching!
Great video man! That was a very good day snipping. The excitement of seeing the gold never gets old. Hope it keeps producing for you. Keep up the great work. We look forward to your next video!
Beautiful country Eric! Amazing Gold! Your enthusiasm is contagious! Love the yips and yells! The old timers left you a lot of Gold! Otters are stealing those nuggets! Dan Brent
Well Done, Great Video. Finding Gold Sniping is So Much Fun and What a Rush. You did very well and awesome video. I snipe the Yuba Rivers in N California and have had a few good days a couple years ago. Keep it Up
I don't generally hit the like button, muddies the waters and RUclips gets kind of cocky and off base with my viewing preferences, but brother you deserve a thumbs up all day, keep up the good work and thank you for sharing.
That looks like so much fun! I wonder what would happen if you put a big gold mat in the center of the river. To see if you catch anything while you are gone! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It is fun, hard work but fun. The gold doesn't move unless there is major floods so I don't think a mat would work. The old timers used to make cement anchors and put steel sluice cages in the bottom of rivers. Pretty sure installing anything into rivers is illegal now. Thanks for watching!
Hi Eric, with the larger size gold you're finding, have you ever seen the homemade snuffer bottles with any type of bottle and a metal tube? Levi with "Tassie Boys Prospecti" makes his own, so check him out😊
Yes I have seen Levi's video on how he makes his snuffer bottles. I haven't been able to find a good juice bottle here in the USA yet. Thanks for watching!
@@wildernessericI just made 1 with a 16.9oz Mountain Dew bottle and a piece of copper refrigerant tubing and its by far the best I've ever used. The 16.9oz bottles are the taller skinny looking 1s. It's a night and day difference compared to the normal store bought snuffers. Keep up the good work, & keep finding the yellow stuff brotha!
Freaking awesome! I’m going out for my first time tomorrow. It’s not on a claim but national Forest. Any pointers for a first timer? Thanks for the awesome video!
That larva is called a hellgramite some of the best bass fishing bait that many anglers don't even know about. They merge into Dobsan fly larvae and eventually emerge from the water in summer and if you have ever seen those huge dragonflies in summer, that's the hellgramite all grown up and they actually eat mosquitoes.
I thought is was a hellgrammite at first too but on closer inspection it is actually a type of stonefly. It doesn't have the large pincher mandibles like the hellgrammites do. Its feet were really grippy and it could walk along the rocks in strong current.
Hi from the UK, I’m very jealous you have the opportunity to find gold like this, Loving your videos, think you need a bigger sniffer bottle, one that the end doesn’t retract too (think the Tassie boys have a metal longer straw?) 😊, think you should overlay the queen track “I’m having such a good time I’m having a ball.. don’t stop me now” 🤩. I’m also a subscriber and fan of Pioneer Pauly, you have a very rich claim 👍🏼hope your being careful with your location and keep it quiet locally, can’t wait to see you grow with sniping, I think you will find bigger nuggets once you become more confident and firmer scraping 👍🏼 keep going this time next year you could be a millionaire 🤩
Hello! It is a wonderful opportunity and a ton of fun. Do they not have gold in the UK? I've been tinkering with a new snuffer bottle setup but I haven't found a bottle that sucks good enough yet😆 I like the setup Tassie Boys has but the metal straw he has is huge. It would probably make my gold chunks look small 🧐 plus it's a good feeling to find a piece of gold so big that it won't fit into the straw haha. I keep finding bigger and bigger pieces as I go so I do think I will eventually find some bigger nuggets. Only been out there a handful of days so far, can't wait to see what else it holds. Thank you for watching and following 🙂
Gold in the uk is hard to find and not as rich as other countries, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall I believe it’s possible. They are all a long drive away maybe one day 😊… keep doing what your doin 👍🏼
Massive well done Eric I'd certainly invest In a kyack drysuit and a undersuit you'll be alot warmer and don't forget to scratch every crack out till you get back to harder bedrock them bigger bits do get deep into the decayed bedrock
Hi Eric good to watch best of luck, but without some form of collection, & checking later, on the river bank or home, or by vacuuming how can you be sure you are not missing so much ?
Hi thanks for watching. I can't be sure I know I'm missing stuff but I don't have the equipment to do vacuuming. At some point I hope to find a way to get a dredge packed in.
Hi there Nice review. I tried looking for the Bairuifu googles but doesn’t seem to be on amazon. Im in UK so i hope thats not the reason why. Don’t suppose any has tried to purchase them in 2024 have they?
Eric, We have enough people coming up into our areas and they don’t care what they do to our resources. As much as I enjoy some of your videos it just gets more and more people flooding the areas we enjoy going. Is that 8 dollar behind you? Enjoy your adventures!! Until you can’t find a place to park. Great job mate. That is not wire gold though...it is merely a piece of gold that has been hammered into that shape. Conditioner and water mix for getting into your wetsuit. Sinkers in snuffers bottle
What state are you in? We have tons of bedrock creeks here in Missouri, and I've often wondered if there was any gold trapped in that limestone. Sadly I'm trying desperately to get my disability and I don't think that I could do that kind of work anymore.
Okay @ 20:58 seconds freeze frame the video,I might be wrong but isn't that Quartz Fischer in Blue leed, dexpan that looks like what I call a squished depositor pocket,
You are picking up the gold dust one ny one..Why not use a gold pan and do gold panning. You can get more gold with that. The water is cold. Maybe you can stay there more than two hours after that you will develop hypothermia.
