I LOST MY AZZ SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY ALL HAD ONE THING IN COMMON....I DID NOT CUT MY LOSSES, ESPECIALLY TO ONE OR TWO BARS.

I have learned a lot from your videos and books. But I cant lose properly and it cascades. I see the trend but when it goes against me i get upset and hate losing and making it worse.

I have been applying increments of his teaching and although I am not there yet I realize my mind is responding differently. Great lesson to be in control of the way you think about the market. Must take control of emotions: fear of losing or greed for gains. I won’t stop till I master this game.

Oliver how can I improve to exit a intraday trade bcoz my entry is ok but to exit a trade I am very weak. Would I fix the risk reward for per trade bcoz most of the time waiting for 3bar rule hits my sloss. Also suggest what is best risk reward ratio in sideways market.

Great inspiring video Oliver. I am exactly in the situation where i have very often 2 weeks winning streak, and then loosing all profit in 2-3 bad days….and same situation a month later.
One or two bad lost at 10-20% each can make you regress so hard….
I am getting the point now, and your video is confirming me that i am on the right track and i just need to tight and minimize my loosing period/ lost %.

I am at the stage where I am seeing light every now n then after years of hard work. You taught me to save my capital. To lose properly. Now I am losing properly and I tell u I am feeling better coz my losses are super small. Now just the winnings need to come more often

Thanks Oliver for this video….I recall with thanks on your video about a bar of Snickers that you initially tended to eat all at once, but realised that if eaten bit by bit it lasts longer, which led you to understand that that’s the way to trade the market….so if the losses and profits are smaller increase the lot size is my take on this, while striving to minimise losses…

Ahhh ya, that darkness category. ooooo not a happy 7 yrs, but I remember the year I broke even more than lost - 1991. Back and forth every month for a couple more years. Then I got serious; really serious and decided to trade full time. Promptly blew through a 5 k account and thought WTF just happened? hahahaa omg I can laugh at myself now. My moment of "enlightenment" was when I said out loud to myself "if i would of just done the opposite of every trade I would be sitting here smiling ". That moment changed everything for me.. I stopped gambling and started trading just 1 structure in price action and made my stop loss points my entry points and made my take profits my stops. It was boring but it changed my mindset. I'm not a multimillionaire (cant take it with ya and the kids will just blow through it cuz they didnt struggle in life to achieve it) but I am comfortable and blessed to be a healthy 67yr old dog living a simple married life in the Philippines. Oh just to mention, I have graduated to a couple more "structures" . Just killing time and came across this vid. Really enjoyed the connection. Take care. Simply Living Simply in the Philippines.
