People might find that a bit austere, but I in turn think many clarinettists today are too playful. Convincing phrasing. It might be a tad on the heavy side for French music (would be perfect for Brahms), yet it actually becomes this piece rather well. Only one thing caught my attention: at III 7 (10:15) the trill on low G could be more even?
