Yup! Those sword sheaths! 😬 So sorry that happened. These are a definite improvement over their past TMNT stuff. Not quite there, but heading in the right direction.
I'm not a collector but I will buy Leo figures if they look cool. Just got him at Wal-Mart for 24 bucks.. didn't break him and didn't have any issues posing him in a few cool ways. I switched out his head too... the eyes look dope.
Sorry for the sword sheaths. Loyal Subtjects up's and down's, like the size scaling between some figures. I like them can't wait for my IDW Retail-Version. I really like the Best of with Comic Version Artwork. For Donatello it's his anti-gravity- gauntlet.
Yeah, I’m still not a fan of the BST action figures. They still look like knockoffs I’d find in Chinatown in SF. I do think these look way better than any of the animated Turtles, but still not for me. The Lawson turtles are all similar because that is how they are in the comics, so they’re 100% accurate. I do like that for newer series like IDW and even the last 2 Nickelodeon animated series that the Turtles are not all the same size and whatnot. Of course loved their looks in Mutant Mayhem! 😊👍
Yes, mutant mayhem looked great. And I didn’t mean their size with the Jim Lawson but more their markings on the bodies. I would’ve liked to see some more differences
Bummer that it broke so easily and quickly! I wonder if it's a plastic sourcing issue? Old school toys weren't perfect either, but I feel that I didn't break them easily either.
I just ordered these after looking and watching a long review. Now I'm watching more reviews and this is the third different upload of that same exact sheathe breaking off. I'm so scared of that happening now. Keeping stuff in a box just doesn't feel right to me. I get that they do so well on the packaging but I just can't resist posing and playing with them. 😅
@@ToyAttics Had to cancel my order. TLS reported back after a delay in shipping that some of their inventory was damaged. Because they couldn't ship me the full set I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. 😞
Main reason the IDW TMNT are different sizes is cuz thats how they are in the comics. The Mirage Lawson (RTNY) TMNT are all the same size cuz that is how they are in the comics. Batman vs. TMNT figures are different sizes as well so it depends on the source material they are pulling from. I will say NECA did botch the sizes of the TMNT movie figures (TMNT 1990 & SOTO) cuz they are all different heights in the movie esp. Michelangelo
@@ToyAttics they need to work on the joints and find a way to make it a esthetically pleasing to the eyes. I hate the separation between the knee & elbow joints which is why I dont purchase BST AXN/ Loyal Subjects
Leo pretty much the only one that been coming apart for most people and the sword holders the same for everyone so u really didn’t break it it just a QC issue dong beat yourself up I would say just like keep the white and gray ones package up for display and get the battle damage ones or the 21$ versions without the battle damage
@@ToyAttics yeah the top of Shredders Spear snapped off when I was removing it from the insert as did the scope of the gun from the Turtles in Time Foot Soldier
I know I commented 3 months ago. I really do love how they look in box. The packaging is AMAZING. Since then I was able to pick up a new set as they've been going for $25 ( A STEAL). All I know is you made me start collecting. Thank you. P.S did open 2nd set.

Yea they weren’t perfect but you could throw them off a roof and they wouldn’t break

I get that. I think they've come along way in a short amount of time though.
Also they’re not expensive so quality price. If you think about it a lot of the cost goes into licensing so pretty fair priced imo
