My dad had a 66 Ford 150. He only paid $100 for it. He was a Great mechanic, alot like you, but a bit mellower. LoL It had a step side short bed, School bus yellow, it was a yard work truck at the port of Oakland, Ca, where he worked for 27 years! He sanded it and painted it Med Blue. He put a long bed on it. And reupholstered the seats. He bought a $3,000 industrial sewing machine. It was Great! He turnned the short bed into a Hydraulic lifted dump trailer. He had 6 Vintage Mustangs. His first 65 Mustang he paid $400. Off a used car lot. It was Sky Blue. One was a 64 1/2 convertable. It was just the shell on a chassis. He traded a 10 speed bike for it. He started wrenching when he was 13. He worked in a junk yard. Then he became a taxi driver. I remember my mom telling me his nickname was "Speedy"! His next 65 Mustang he bought, he paid $200! And painted it like a Ca Highway Patrol car! I got to drive that for 2 years! But then he gave it to my neice.....she let her boyfriend drive it, and he totaled it. 😢. It had a unique transmission, well, to me it did. When i came to a stop, i could feel the drag when it got to first gear. It was a automatic, but i felt that drag.... 😊. i miss that car .....😢

Sounded like it was knocking or pinging a couple times. I had an 88 suburban with the 350 and if I drove the hell out of it it would do that. 2 and a half months after I had it one day it randomly snap 1 pushrod and bent one and the 2 rocker arms get jumping off the valve seats drove it like that for a month before it decided to blow up doing 70mph on the highway to work.😂😂😂

I just started watching this so I don't know if you had this one the same time you had the Cadillac that was cut up? This would have been a great place for that drive train. I'm sure you could have used the modern electronics if you wanted to. That would have been awesome.
