Great channel. Hat purchased. Keep up the good work.
Appreciate you
Just ordered one for my Evo XF 33 super excited
Looks like a great rest option! Thanks! Was curious on your opinion of the Vapor Trail Gen 7x rest? Thanks for all the videos you do a great job!
I couldn't decide on witch hamskea model to get so I got the trinity because of the micro tune .. and man it's just beautiful lol cheers man love your videos . I've learned so much watching 👀 ... my new setup ventum 30 garmin zero a1i and a trinity rest. Still putting a bomb arrow set together..
i think youve convince me to get my first hamskea. primer is affordable enough to try. but like you, i may add the trinity to my new target bow.
I shoot the Hybrid Hunter Pro on two bows and I love it! A Bowtech BTX 31 and a Solution SS and they work awesome on both. You really cant beat a Hamskea!
The only hamske they had in stock at my shop when I bought my solution ss was the primer. At that time I had never heard of the primer figured it was old model. So I went once again with a QAD.... I could have bought the one I wanted online . But with archery essentially dead in my home state of Mississippi. I bought the qad very overpriced from my shop. And it was an older hdx. To be fair it’s all I need . I only hunt .... 3D no longer exists here. I try to buy from the shops with the exception of a sight.... your kinda screwed there these days unless you want a truglo or an HHA.... Hek at most shops you are screwed down here if you want any rest besides a QAD
I just bought this rest today. I'm hoping it's as good as I have heard. I wanted the Trinity pro. But like everything else it's backordered
Hamskea rests are badass!! Get the Hybrid pro!
I love my vaportrail gen7, zero problems with it couldn't be happier.
With the Hamskie limb driven vs QAD will I gain more elevation with my sight if it stays up longer being a limb driven to gain more yardage out of a HHA Tetra with a Mathews Vertix 70yds my sight housing is extremely close with Blazer vanes even switching to a handheld thumb release and charging my anchor as well as my peep set at 6in from to inside center tied in nockpoints within my Dloop. I'm shooting 28in match grade FMJs 340s at 66lbs at 272fps .
Kind of random but could you show how to set up a hamskea rest without the spring up top? Been trying to figure that out and have seen y’all do that a few times.
Do you have information on were I could find that short launcher blade?
Is it as noisy as the other Hamskea rest?
It's a nice looking rest but you're better off spending the extra 20 and getting the hybrid hunter pro more adjustments but I guess if you want to save some money and dont care enough about the fine tuning aspect this rest is perfect had my hybrid hunter a few years now had zero problems besides that little football clamp can be a pain but other then that hamskea makes the best rest on the market only thing I feel that will make it better is have a dovetail option so I can attach it to my mathews like the qad rests
Agree on the football clamp ! Decided on using a prusik knot instead (allows quick adjustment) nil issues so far .
is this better or trophy taker smackdown pro click instead?
I just got a trinity pro hunter for 125.
Wanted to get everyone’s thoughts, what is the best site for elk hunting/ spot and stalk-I was looking at a multi pin slider like the black gold mountain lite(I like how it has 2 indicators) but am open to other sites.
Look up Elk Shape they have great channels and talk about different sites why which one is better. I haven’t elk hunted yet but hopefully in the near future i will get to. Can’t beat Black Gold Mountain lite or spot hogg. I use Black Gold but personally I believe it’s each person’s preference on what they like. Safe bet be Black Gold Mountain lite 5 pin.
Also can check out S&S archery they have a great advice to on sites also.
I say always, Kahf dir läeber a Leberkaassemmel ! 🤘🍻
With my new Hoyt I’m I better off waiting for a inline rest?
By in-line do you mean integrate mounted rest ?
Two weeks ago I spent $80 on a TROPHYTAKER arrow rest. Today I heard a 'click' as the spring dislodged itself from its anchor point. I spent 45 minutes figuring out how to make it work again. Got it!..-.then heard 'click" $80 bucks down the drain. Will Bass Outlet refund my money? - doubt it. The TROPHYRIDGE sight, that came with bow was useless, as a screw had been tightened so that the allen 'slot' stripped - I made a flat screwdriver slot with a dremmel to make it work. I'm not having fun with my new bow package! ($530)
Yeahhh the accessories with those package deals are usually a rough deal
@@InsideOutPrecision The package came with a whisker biscuit. I bought the drop away off the shelf - $80 ! Lasted exactly 2 days.
@@jthepickle7 they should warranty it, but you probably wouldn’t have much confidence in the new one either
@@InsideOutPrecision With the fall away self destructing I put the whisker biscuit on. Seven minutes later I was shooting bullet holes.
I just got the hamskea just I like it so much better then my Qad. My Qad is on my 1 bow my back up bow. The hamskea is on my BOWTECH REVOLT. Love limb driven.
It’s called a biscuit
Haha gonna have to disagree majorly on that one, but to each their own.
@@InsideOutPrecision well they don’t move which means they don’t mechanically fail.which makes them a far superior hunting rest to anything with a spring, cable or string.
@@mountaintroll7864 Except when the whiskers get wet and freeze youll hit high or low. And if you shoot regularly the whiskers wear, causing change in arrow flight. And they still have set screws like any other rest that can come loose and then they'll move. I've installed thousands of these hamskeas and havemt seen a single one come back with any issues.
@@InsideOutPrecision ok so your counter is ice screws things up.. well it does this to every mechanism that is not explicitly designed to thwart it. Ice still wins a lot in these battles. Next biscuits wear out. Yep yes they do but it is a slow process that will never have a “catastrophic failure” unlike dropaways which often do it at 80 degrees not even iced. But dropaways wear out too. They require a rotating shaft, spring assembly, and a string that attaches it to their drive mechanism. All of these things fail routinely. Strings stretch or break, springs do the same, and shafts wear out/break. So one question on your final point dropaways have no screws?
@@InsideOutPrecision but I will give you a biscuit failure point/not designed for it. Heavy tapered shaft split the bristles. I solved this with some super glue but it can fail so I am still testing glued to see what’s best.
You lost me on “not micro-adjustable”
I was looking at them but the savings seemed like it wasn’t worth it for the features you lose.
Eh, Micro Adjust is a waste of money for 95% or archers out there.
That’s good about damper, that spring is a piece of shit.
