If your RZR is still sputtering, this is what fixed mine! So I check the spark at the plug it was misfiring, I opened the factory gap until I had a constant spark centered on the electrode approx 40 thousand, in conjunction with adjusting the float for a lil less fuel in the bowl no more misfiring on acceleration or top in … thanks for the video I learned a lot from it
Hey Mike, So I pulled a few things apart on the razor 170 and no success, so it starts well and runs for a short time while riding it then it begins to lose power and we have to choke it to get it the the garage. We had the carb off and cleaned it awhile back, filter looks good pump obviously pumps, new gas. Any suggestions? We may try a new pump but I don’t want to just start replacing parts.
Nice video. These things are poorly designed... not sure there's such a thing as "perfect" throttle response and carb adjustments. I'm currently repairing mine which suffers from a poor air intake replacement which the previous owner did to mitigate a poor factory air intake. Fun fun!
I just bought this about a month it starts by but as soon as I give a gas it won't go it's like it's choking can you please tell me what it could be thank you

I guess I would diagnose what might be effected by the heat. I would check compression, fuel delivery, and spark at cold and hot starts.
Thanks

David I totally agree! Thank you for sharing your experience.

Could be the carburetor or the fuel pump, both of which I replace and/or service in this series. I would test the fuel pump first.
