The distinctive tandem twin-rotor configuration of this heavy-lift helicopter cleverly counteracts the effects of engine torque by having each of its huge rotor blade stacks rotate in opposite directions, thus negating the need for the tail rotors traditionally associated with helicopters.

Once on Scale Models (1984 !) I saw a conversion from an old Airfix CH46 to a CH 47, glad that Airfix issued this kit of a formidable chopper.

Having flown in BN on ops and given it is a national treasure it would of been nice to see it in variant up to HC 4 or at least with more schemes maybe? - especially since 4 of it's pilots have earned the DFC from it!.
Quite disappointed really for this veteran, Op Corporate, Banner, Granby, Tellic, Herrick.....etc etc, I don't think you've done it the justice it rightly deserves 😢
Looks like a nice well tooled kit though - will be adding it to the stash 😊
