- KING OF CHESS!! Magnus Carlsen vs Hikaru Nakamura || World Blitz Championship 2019 - Tie Break
Amazing game, Amazing Champion! Congratulation Magnus Carlsen. King of chess!! :D
Just like last year, Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and Kateryna Lagno (Russia) became the winners of the world blitz championships in Moscow. Like in 2014, Carlsen scored the "double" as he also won the world rapid title two days ago.
This year Carlsen needed to play a tiebreak with Hikaru Nakamura, who had also finished on the excellent score of 16.5/21. The world champion in classical, rapid, and blitz drew the first, and then won the second.
Vladimir Kramnik won the bronze medal, just like he did in 2015 in Berlin. It was all the more impressive as the 14th world champion retired from classical chess in January of this year and only played a handful of games at faster time controls since.
The FIDE World Blitz Championship is a 21-round Swiss tournament taking place from 29-30 December 2019 in the VIP Zone of the Luzhniki Football Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The prize fund is $350,000, with $60,000 for 1st place. Players receive 3 minutes for the entire game, plus a 2-second increment starting from move one. Prize money is shared equally between players on the same number of points, with a playoff for 1st place that consists of two 3+2 games followed, if necessary, by Armageddon, where White has 5 minutes to Black's 4.
Some things in life never change... one of them is seeing Naka getting his butt kicked... in any chess format by Magnus.
Hikaru really needs to fix his carlsenphobia he really wasted too much time against carlsenphobia in vague
That's like everyone else
Magnus Carlsen...no words to say now....such a genius...all the three titles on his name now..Classical, rapid and Blitz...superb
Truly incredible how effortless Magnus makes some of his games look, and this is a perfect example. I only spotted one or two points in the game where Magnus showed signs of serious calculation, and even then I was left with the impression that he was only validating the move that he had already found by pure instinct!
Notice how, at several points throughout this game, you see Magnus' hand out dart out and hover over the correct piece IMMEDIATELY after his clock is pressed, only for Magnus to pull his hand back, calculate for a bit, and then allow his hand to make the move that he had already found! This is a sure sign that almost every move (or maybe every single move) was found by instinct, and any calculation was only for the sake of due-diligence.
Also, @5:40: It's not often you see rooks and knights in the configuration in which Magnus has placed his; it's a very strong setup that isn't easy to achieve!
the stutter step rook lift, rc2-c4 (with tempo)-h4 combined with g4-g5 and the knights to c6 and d6 was genius
3:07 - 3:15 the expression i made to show that i am thinking hard when my teacher walk near me during exams
Congrats Triple Crown winner Magnus Carlsen
Congratulation!! King Magnus!!
Chapeau!
whom the instrumental music??? Please...i´d like
Please dont add music. It kills any atmosphere of intensity.
Yes, i got it
CHESS - ThanhCong Online nah the music is fine. What is the name of the song that starts around 6:00

Insat view of facial expressions is amazing.
Notice that Naka is the speed demon but Magnus was up almost one minute in a blitz game, so I think all the talk about who is the best has finally been decided!
You decide it on one game Wow!
@@mrmomonk616 No, look at history Magnus always wins. Every time they play a match Magnus wins no matter the time control. But credit to Naka he is only second to Magnus!!
That is wrong alone in the Rapid and Blitz the score is only 1 win for Magnus with 3 draws. Deal with facts
@@mrmomonk616 Sorry, when i write match i mean more GAMES between Magnus and Naka.
@@mrmomonk616 Magnus have planted defeat in Nakas scull. Carlsen's *overall* statistics against Nakamura are just superior .
To bad for the Japanese-American Chess player. 🇳🇴🤝🇺🇸

People study chess so much to lose because couldn't manage time. This is so crazy.
Your time starts running out when you start looking for ways to get back in the game that aren't there. He didn't mismanage his time, he got outplayed. And then once he was beat his clock drained.
Make rewind magnus world champion at 2019
ALL HAIL KING MAGNUS !
All hail KING MAGNUS 🙌🎉
CONGRATS to king Magnus

I love the music that starts around the 6:00 mark. Anyone know what it is.
Darude sandstorm
Ở nước Hikaru lùi mã từ f.6 về d.7 (10:14) nếu Carlsen đưa mã d.6 vào ô f.7 khả năng cao thắng sớm hơn ko anh.

Maybe you'd like to change it to "KING OF CONVENTIONAL CHESS" cause there's a chess game where he was mercilessly pummeled by Wesley So...THE FISCHER RANDOM CHESS
Greatest ever
10:24 rook takes h7 and king takes rook queen h5 check then king g8 then knight e7 mate
Magnus is the GOAT.

If Carlsen outlast Kasparov or he reigns for 2 decades he will be considered legend status in chess maybe even now.
But if you call him the goat it doesn’t do anything. Because there will be children born that already study chess at 4 years old with engine that will probably be GM at 9-11 in the future and dwarf other players.
Especially with AI engines etc
You already see prodigies like Firouzja, Praga , Nihal popping out everywhere in every corner of the world.
Heck Firouzja 2nd rapid 16-17 years
Nihal bearing NEPO IAN Russian super GM.
How hard or stupid it seems. If any other top chess player wants to be chess world champion they have to defeat Carlsen because it’s their last chance. I bet right NOW a monster is born somewhere in a mother belly with an insane brain.
Not really
Magnus Drew Kasparov when he was 13 year old
Magnus is the one
The only one
And the consistency of him is what makes him even more superior than any other super GMs now or back then
Tremendo Carlsen
Is your intro by OMFG?
What's OMGF?
Wesley So KING OF ASIAN CHESS
Wesley is man of America
nakaruma expression?
Fahmi Danial asleep.. night before game he cant sleep
Hikaru can win if he only have all horses official hahahahaha
I think nakamura not given his best because of pressure of champions
Yes. A little Pressure
Incredible how Magnus missed mate in 3 with R:h7+ instead of K:f7+
Easy to do when you see several paths to certain victory.
Was hoping naka to win this game next year i guess
try you play chess with people indonesian
He missed checkmate starts with Rh7 +
no check mate, just check
@@CHESSThanhCongOnline that's checkmate

The gold medal should have gone to Firouzja.
Carlsen deserved
No, Carlsen’s win against Alireza was politically motivated. Carlsen’s victory is therefore not genuine and the gold medal should have been awarded to Alireza.
@@kevinwellwrought2024 how was enforcing the rules politically motivated?? He correctly lost on time and admittedly Magnus was lucky, because a draw was all he could hope for in that game...
As Alireza had the winning position the rule says it is a draw if he runs out of time, however, the arbiter argued that there is an almost impossible position where Carlsen can checkmate with a lone bishop. Being a plus 2800 player, Alireza would never promote his pawn to a knight nor would he ever make the rest of the impossible moves to make Carlsen win. Therefore, this is a drawn game and Alireza should have been given gold and not silver medal and the decision was surely political. Despite all this, Alireza brought Carlsen to his knees with three extra pawns and bishop.
@@kevinwellwrought2024 You are playing a time control, hence you need to manage your time. If you run out of time, you are out of the game. The position shouldn't even matter, if you run out of time, you run out of time and lose. Not hard. I don't even understand why Alireza is allowed to even hope for a draw when he runs out of time. Rule number one on any time control is to not lose all your time.
Chess today is all about memory, so Magnus with a photograph memory will always win, it's not like it used to be before engines, the times of Fisher, and even kasparov...
David Heigl isnt Magnus know for his supperiour intuition? He is famous for seeking complicated positions to force his opponents to think so they can’t use their preparation. He did this against Anand in 2013 in Chennai. I agree with what you are saying, but I don’t think Magnus is the best example of a player playing purely from memory
@@Samuel-uh5uc you just pointed out that Magnus is the right example for what I'm saying, he always forces his opponent to play the real difficulties that is hard to remember, but he knows that he is memorizing it.
Méo hiểu sao có thằng dislike :D ??
Luôn có Dislike và video nào cũng có :))
This presentation is so bad. I cant believe Jozarov and Agadmator do such a superior presentation than you guys. Hint, not every fan of chess is an IM or GM.
You are way to critical. I think every platform have their up and downs. It's great with some diversity.
