Never quite as chaotic as Glasgow was post-deregulation ... Those long wheelbase Alexander bodied Leyland Olympians of Lothian were very handsome
I miss driving along Princes St. Seeing the Classic Car's parked on the Gardens side on the longest day of the year.
One thing I remember about Edinburgh buses in formal maroon livery, there was not one without the wheel nut covers.
Apart from the Leyland Nationals... The initial Olympians 666/7 also didn't have them fitted when new. Look horrid without them.
Awe yes the good old days of Edinburgh, those classic busses and the traffic on Princess Street.

Wow 1991, back in the days where ford and vauxhall cars dominated the roads, sierras, escorts, fiestas and astras, cavaliers everywhere, not one suv and very few motors from the east.1991 would be the year of the H reg new motors!
