The hotel looked fine. I don't eat sausage or bacon on holiday, for me the selection at breakfast looked good. You could have always asked for the omelette to be cooked more, same with the fried egg, to be turned over. But then there would be less to moan about I suppose 😉

Stayed there last October for 4 nights all inclusive, accessible room which was huge. Our family and grandchildren were booked there hence reason for staying. Food was OK but repetitive, could always find something to eat, drinks were free depending on what level of AI you were on. Grandchildren absolutely had a ball, loved the place!
If you kept that breakfast down, you've got a stronger stomach than me. How anaemic were those sausages and bacon?? 😂No doubt the pastries had been out for the previous 4 days too 🤪

Lee your well travelled. If you struggled to communicate “leave it on the griddle for a little longer” when they cooked your omelette I struggle to understand that. Naturally you would you use your hands and in a downward manner to convey it needs cooking a little longer. Your well travelled and not shy. Either your looking for a story or you had a hangover. Peace and love.
The room was very nice, thr shower especially seemed nice. I knew that was Tom Dowd's drone handy work, he's great!

I thought the breakfast looked pretty standard and along expectations for a hotel chain buffet and toaster. I think it’s harsh comparing to a restaurant which does freshly cooked meals.

You should know by now buffets are not very good in Spain / Tenerife take 1 sausage if good go back for more a waste of food it wasn’t crispy bacon.why take it .stick to cereal
Stayed here with my wife and daughter had a really good time.
Hi Lee. We stayed here in September 2023. There were 6 of us including our two grandchildren who loved the place. It was there first Spanish holiday. The food was ok not the best but certainly not the worst. We were in F block where the rooms have been slightly renovated. The hotel is dated and badly needs a refresh. The kids loved it though. Would I go back? Probably not as we prefer Lanzarote.
Very good value for the money. I was in Padstow in Cornwall this year and saw a one bed holiday let flat to rent and the rent was 250 pounds a night.Plus there was no parking.
Haven’t holidayed in this country for 20 years

Stayed there last December and It was great for the price in a fantastic area. A lot of hotels in the Canaries have the same rubbish sausages and bacon, and there looked nothing wrong with the fried egg and omelette seems a bit picky to me. Still love the videos keep up the great work.

Best thing about jacaranda is price of a glass of wine, visited couple of evenings this week, less than 2.50 a glass
Not got the patience with the toasters either, I done self catering last 3 Christmas's cheapest option as solo traveller and know what getting when eating, plus entertainment been ok
Have friends nearby on half board and they are struggling to like evening meals
Home made pie in the colonial is fab for 13euro, cracking singers on Tuesday eves if you like ska/ub40.... Finding the best entertainment reflects on bar prices which is expected

we just came back from tenerife. hotel catalonia never again food cold. had to buy food out the worst hotel says 4 star more like 2star
Chips on a cooked breakfast is a big no no.
I wished hotels would invest in commercial DUALIT toasters.
They are British built and the dogs hee haws. They knock out toast in minutes.
I stopped buying £10 supermarket toasters as they are garbage.

Just come back from the Arona Gran Los Chris, been several times before , service and food excellent paid extra £800 for the UP facility but I think for a holiday that cost £3100 for a week the rooms and hotel now need a makeover (ps entertainment shocking)
Every hotel I stayed at in the UK had that toaster and it barely got it to a light brown. So I understand your frustration when it keep coming out as bread and not toast.
Takes a Britt to complain about not having a perfect English breakfast when on holiday abroad in Spain, instead of being happy they serve hot breakfast unlike a lot of other hotels and countries in the world. How was the rest of the breakfast which was on offer? Fruits yoghurts cheese etc.? I do agree though the bacon didn't look very appetizing and they shouldn't claim crispy if it isn't, however maybe stay in the UK instead of assuming the whole world has to offer perfect English breakfast otherwise you get a low score?
Other then that fair review and I enjoyed watching, thank you for uploading.

We stayed here with friends a good few years ago. The room was lovely and the hotel clean, no complaints from me. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but plenty of people were loving it. My friend decided to have cheese on toast using one of the toasters... it didn't go well and ended up with flames coming out of the back of the toaster!! Maybe that's why all the toasters are now on a low heat?!!🤣
We stayed there in November and honestly can't complain! As a family of four had everything we needed , staff were amazing, entertainment was brilliant for the children , ok the food wasn't British but we didn't go hungry , I must also commend the staff ! One of my sons on arrival became extremely ill and "made a mess" on the way to the room the staff were so helpful and were more concerned about him then the sick all over the floor and helped us so much ! Honestly I think this hotel is more for a family on a budget rather then a man on his own looking for 5* at 3* prices
Goodness me. That breakfast should’ve meant an automatic refund of at least £400 of what it cost you. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell food. Reheating chips and potatoes is a massive offence. Disgusting.
Reminded me that I had a lovely breakfast in Anstruther at The Bank. Nice hotel with its own nice restaurant and cheap drinks compared to England. Worth a try if you’re there for fish and chips again.
Stayed there about 20 years ago with my lad. Wasn't much to write home about. We always eat out and book room only as 8 times out of 10 the food is crap. Didn't like all the wood around the pools either. Wouldn't go there again that's for sure, but my 8 year old back then loved it and the kids club.
Best looking thing on the breakfast there Lee was the orange juice, the rest was either overcooked, dry, undercooked and it all looked like it had been standing there since the day before, enjoy, cheers.
Looking at that I would have passed on breakfast! mind you I stopped having breakfast a long time ago.

Alborada beach club , been there a few times , loved it , many happy memories. The place looks like a car park , the restaurant was 80's , outdated BUT , the staff were amazing, the pool , fantastic. Sadly the restaurant went on fire last year , we don't know what's happening there now . Please on your next trip to Tenerife visit the place
I used to regularly stay in the Jacaranda 20 years ago. It was an amazing hotel back then.
Square eggs, anemic sausages, rubbery bacon and white toast! 2/10

We've just come back from a 2 week stay over Xmas from paradise park staying half board in los cristianos. We did the same ate once and never again. It was disgusting so ate out everyday.
I reckon the architect that designed that must have had had a few sherberts, what an ugly amalgamation of buildings.
Terrible breakfast, but it would seem the spanish AI standard nowadays. It was fine years ago when you werent paying so much for it, but nowadays it seems the quality and value at home is far better than most short haul resorts, and definitely in the buffet style hotels. Not to mention the standard of locally brewed ale being far superior! If only we had some sunshine! Another fantastic video, have a great Christmas!

We went last year and it was great. Who has chips for breakfast???? The only thing that we didn’t like was the entertainment team did a lot for germans and not enough for English guests. Massage ladies were fabulous x They say one mans meat is another man’s poison. Sharon H
The best family hotel in Tenerife is in Costa Adeje is the Iberostar Las Dalias we took our family in July in the school term time but no problems getting a sun bed yes it was busy but not a problem getting seats for the entertainment either . i
It was AMAZING, from the food choices theme food nights to the epic live entertainment the location was perfect. We have booked to go to Iberostar Las Dalias again in August for next year it’s so good this will be our 3rd visit. My sister in law stayed in the best Jacaranda and she wasn’t impressed they was all inclusive but after a few days the eat out every evening.
A lot of the three and four star hotel breakfasts are like that
Hi ya Lee, first oft the room. A basic clean functional space. Bathroom works for me. Two balconies, that's posh😅 A fair place to lay your head.( also to edit and upload vlogs😅)Breakfast 😢 a fine array of tinned processed catering meats 😮 Ah the magic toaster, bread comes out whiter than it went in😢Yes,now the cooked goodies 😢 Chips (?) Well better than hash browns, nearly. Scrambled Eggs, to be fair weren't a solid block,and didn't look to bad.The bowls of tomatoes & mushrooms looked well cooked.The problem, just messy Can't remember the last time I had carrots and green beans on my full English 😂 Now the oven baked bacon(?) What the fish! 😢 And was there a sausage sellers conference in town?? All them bangers,yet not one of them looked eatable 😢Oh the square eggs( invented for Gala Pie) and your second try an omelette 😮 Any thinner, only one side!! At least get some colour on the thing😂Over all,out of season hotels in seaside locations.a bit like the sad old duck in the corner of your local pub.A looker in her day. That breakfast was at best, “disappointing”.
I tend to find most European hotel breakfasts to be more of a “packed lunch” opportunity (bread rolls, meat, cheese, fruit) rather than a proper breakfast offering.
Anything prepared to order (omelette) can be better, and some simple phrases - bien cocinado or bien cuit if they speak french - can be a massive help I’ve found.
There are so many better breakfast offerings for between €5 - €10 on the coastal restaurants, it’s worth taking a trip out - with a packed lunch for later!
I turned one of then toaster up set the fire alarm off the hole restaurant had to stand outside for a bit.
Group of kids outside Tesco just said to me hey M8 were barred from here can u get us 20 Richmond I said no problem...bloody language and ungratefulness from them when I came out and they threw the sausages at me 😂😂😂

Agree, why do people always complain, the hotel looks fine to me and it's bad publicity from these 'moaners' that scare people away. £800 is a very reasonable price. A holiday is what you make it.
Never eat breakfast in these Spanish hotels always eat at the local restaurants as they use mainly English produce.
I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels and the breakfasts have been shite ‘ mainly use cheap produce due to low budgets

We have stayed in the Best Sirocco in Benalmadena the hotel was very good however the food was not good we are out every day we booked B&B.
That breakfast looked horrendous. Definitely on my list where not to stay.
Hotel food is always terrible in Spain and the canaries it's best to eat out and the bacon is always aweful😢
Under done sausages and bacon with a thought.. Whatever is left will be re heated and served tomorrow . Fried egg?? Very off putting.. Omelette the mass production style but at least not as bad as the fried egg.. As a score i would give that apauling breakfast a mere 3.
Alright man, stayed there a few years ago and had people playing bowles or boule(whatever its called) outside my room. Staff really friendly though.

Drone footage… good. Anyway, why waste your time and money staying in an accommodation that is not as good or at least equal to your place back home? That’s my rule anyway.
Its a big hotel so mass catering standards. Personally I don't use those hotel toasters, prefer the fresh crusty bread or rolls. We've had crispy bacon at the other end of the scale, breaks into bits when you try to stick your fork in! Square eggs, reminds me of the old joke about the ooe-ar bird (so called because it lays square eggs). The outdoor space looks nice though, especially if you like laying by the pool.
If that was the Best Jacaranda Id hate to see the Worst Jacaranda. 😂

It’s amazing going back next August don’t listen to that Scottish guy on RUclips he wouldn’t know good food . We love Europe food and English there’s something for everyone at Las Dalias cost Adeje the entertainment and location is fabulous this will be our 3rd visit, for two weeks we stay for. You will love it if you ever get the chance to go. Oh named spirits too no drink limitation either but it is a family hotel so it keeps to its reputation. X
If the bedroom is clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable that does me but if I'm paying half board the food has to be good and i don't mean restaurant standard i understand the hotel has only a short time to feed the masses so for this review i would score 1/10 as i would have to eat out maybe the main meals will be better ? I also understand Hotels are under pressure with inflation on food prices etc but holiday makers have to save harder now to afford a holiday
OK, those toasters turned up, and the conveyer moves faster. The heat elements are a constant heat. Classic newbie mistake.

£870 for a week in the middle of Winter seems excessive four stars or not. Certainly not four star cooking with nearly raw sausage and bacon. Give me a clean dump with no pool at £500 a week with flights included any time.
Just been to laguna Park 2 for a week.3 of us self-catering 720 basic rooms clean.we walked 51 miles 😂😂😂

Hi mate merry Christmas 🎅 you're room looks nice and as for the breakfast it didn't look great the egg was over cooked and the bacon was not crispy and the Omelette could of been cooked bit more I think you should go out for dinner give it a miss in the restaurant and that toaster was pathetic the price you paid for the week to much for me think I'll stick with Sol Pelicanos in benidorm its cheap enough for me. Onwards
