The 19-inch monitor looks dope on the KI cabinet! Visuals look so crystal clear on the monitor that I thought it was the actual KI full size arcade cabinet! Thank you for sharing this with all of us as well as the company who is providing the 19-inch monitor for the 3/4 scale arcade cabinets!

Dope!!! Thank you once again for paving the way. I was on the fence about doing the bigger monitor mod on this gen cabinet, not knowing what issues I'ma encounter but now I'm definitely doing it. Btw are your online leaderboards updating at all?
Thank you for the comment man. I really appreciate you. They should be fixing that issue I have talked to code mystics about it. Again thank you and i appreciate you.
It has a clearer look and it could be brighter if you wanted it to through the settings on the monitor. I tried to show it in the video. Thanks for checking out the video and I appreciate you.
Do you have any kind of flickering issue? I got a 2007fp monitor after some searching and replaced it, so it looks great. But I have some really bad flicker on Battletoads, and random flicker on KI2. KI1 seems to be ok during gameplay, but it flickers on the Scoreboards (in game, not in the OS). Its weird. Ive got a V2.0 board. Its definitely working but that flicker is annoying, especially if I decide to sell it down the line, I know some tirekicker is gonna complain lol
I am looking at how you have the Geekworm board connected at the 2:11 mark. Normally, the red cables indicate power and would be plugged into Pin 1 on the Geekworm board. On your configuration, looks like you have the cable reversed. So my question is in order to get this to work on KI, you have to plug in the LVDS cable the opposite way and plug into port 2 on the Geekworm board?
@@MadDadsGaming Ok...the reason I brought up because on the geekworm board, if you hold it and view with the HDMI port down, pin 1 for the LVDS would be on the right. This is where the power from the LVDS cable would normally be plugged in, which would be the red cables. However, from looking at the video, you have the LVDS power on the left side. So was just curious if in order to get KI to work with the geekworm board, you had to plug in so the power for the LVDS cable was on the left side and not the right side, which would be how it would be plugged in normally. If it works, it works...was just curious. Thanks again.
@@therealsmilebit who's to say that it's power? Anyway, I see what you mean. the LVDS ribbon from the other A1U cabs are normally on the right when using the adapter. It's possible that his is different?
@@RoTeNdO Because Pin 1 indicates where the power goes. I am not talking about the A1UP PCB. Different A1UP PCB's have the Pin 1 on the left...some on the right. I am specifically talking about the Geekworm board. If the HDMI is pointing down and you are looking directly at it, Pin 1 on each port is on the right. If you look at the cable that came with the Geekworm board, or any LVDS cable for that matter, on the black 30 pin Dupont connector that plugs into the port, there is a dot, which is usually white or red. This indicates Pin 1 and it is the power. Usually if you do not plug in correctly, can damage the board. Does not seem to be the case here and that is why I was asking about it. If it works, it works.
@@therealsmilebit Yes. That is interesting indeed. I have both the first version and 1.5v of the Geekworm LVDS to HDMI and both have the white arrow. I'm waiting for the 2.0 to get delivered so I can do some testing. I'm intrigued enough to test that out, but I don't want to damage any of my A1U pcbs.
Can you PLEASE tell me the exact model monitor you are using. 19" Brand and model. I tried everything shown on two dell 20" 2007fpb and it does not work. It does not keep a stable image. Please let me know the exact model details on the monitor. Thank you.
