Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. this is talking about a condition that is being a reward to the church of Philadelphia not all the churches or all Christians; who can meet these conditions Jesus is rewarding here? this is not rapture
Where and when is the tribulation? What is it? Where does the Bible specifically state there is a tribulation period? Isn't tribulation all of time since Jesus rose? We are in teh tribulation now so were our grandparents and many before them. The things in Revelation are to come but where does it say these are in a seven year period? They talk about about tribulation as if we accept this concept without proof... it is not what Daniel 9:25-27 speaks about...
The interpretation of seperating rapture and second coming is not biblical let me explain: 1. the word rapture does not exist in the Bible it's a concept whereas Jesus second coming is widely mentioned 2. Justice rendering (2 Thes 1:6-7) c. destruction of antichrist (2 thes 2:8) d.Rising from the death (John 5:25-27) why would a DYING MAN ask Jesus to remember him when he comes to reign (Luke 23:42) e. power and Glory (Col 3:4; Rev 1:7; Ps 50:1-6; Mat 24:29-31) f. esthablisment of Reign (Rev 11:15-19; Dan 2:44-45; Is 66:8-11) e.The rapture itself is embedded as an Idea of the second coming. Sylvia you are correct: there is no secret rapture. Jesus returns once, at the "last trump." Frankly it amazes me that so many have fallen for this "secret rapture" nonsense. NOWHERE in the Bible does it say Jesus comes back twice. He returns once, at the "last trump," and it is obvious from 1 Thess 4:13-17 and 1 Cor 15:50-54 that there are Christians alive here on earth when He returns. So much for the "secret pre-trib rapture" idea. We know that Jesus returns at the "last trump": the 7th trumpet of the seventh seal. And we know that the tribulation is over at the opening of the previous, 6th seal. Why? Jesus said the the sun and moon would be darkened, etc., "immediately after the tribulation of those days" (Matt 24:29). That same darkening of the sun and moon happens as the 6th seal is opened, as described in Revelation 6:12-14. Conclusion: the tribulation (properly understood, not misunderstood) ends as the 6th seal is opened. All the events of the 6th seal, plus the first six trumpets of the 7th seal have yet to happen before Jesus returns (7th trumpet of the 7th seal). Seems like Rev 3:10 - being "kept from the hour of temptation" is being used by pre-trib rapture folks as evidence for their pre-trib rapture. Being "kept" may mean they die natural deaths before "the hour of temptation" comes. OR, they may be part of the fifth seal martyrdom. In either case they will not be subjected to the "hour of temptation" which apparently refers to the time when the false prophet is performing miracles in order to "deceive them that dwell on the earth" (Rev 13:14). The "beast" and false prophet are apparently in power together, and apparently at about the same time as the two witnesses (the beast kills the two witnesses, Rev 11:7). The two witnesses are part of the 6th trumpet of the seventh seal, long after the "tribulation" has ended . . . the tribulation and the "hour of temptation" are different events at different times.

There is tribulation (since Jesus) - then there is the Great Tribulation (only mentioned 3 times in the bible)

The great tribulation is for pagan trinitarians and all worshippers of false gods and false christ's, mainly trinitarians.
