I didn’t like the room at first, thought it was too adultish looking for kids but then you explained the room being used only for bedtime and it made total sense!! A calm clean room to transition them to sleep mode. Love it!!
This room builds their sense of independence. I like how it’s not too “baby-ish”. I immediately fell in love with this room. The nook is literally everything - love how you incorporated a reading spot for them - so important during the toddler stage of development for early literacy skills.
You have such good taste and a good eye for interior design. I love the natural and modern feel you put forth for a children’s bedroom. I love how it’s not the “typical” children’s bedroom anyone would assume seeing. The room actually looks like a modern up-to-date bedroom. It’s honestly a unique touch that I don’t see anyone else doing. Congrats on your new home! ❤️
Yes! It actually is true. No toys in their room. We don’t have toys in my kids room. We have a play room. They know that their room is for bedtime ONLY! We’ve been doing this for awhile now. My oldest boys of 4 are 8 and 5. The other two still sleep in our room with us. But we will do the same for them too!
@@angela9671 my boys can still play anywhere they just know where all the toys belong. They play in their playroom a lot but they also play in our living rooms.

I have a small basket of their most played toys in the living room we spent most of our time. I love that thing lol. When we have guest I use it as a blanket basket to hide the toys 😂
It looks nice but personally I’d want them to have separate rooms
I tried the separate rooms in my rental home and unfortunately it just didn’t make sense 💕😩

I keep mine separate lol they both sleep differently so didn’t want to interfere with that. (One sleeps faster than the other one) lol

I saw a children therapist say kids shouldn’t have toys in there room because it feels like work for them and that’s why it’s hard for them to sleep , but this is so cute my son and daughter share also and has a similar set up 😍 love it
I like the room, looks modern I would just add more kids stuff to it like maybe cartoon decals on the wall just my opinion. I think I would’ve put Camila’s bed by the wall since she’s smaller. It’s nice though.
My son & daughter are teenagers & they still share a room 😂🙄 Rent is outrageous for a 3 bedroom
I would’ve loved the black and white theme with touches of pink and blue 🖤🤍 ... the vibe you had in their nursery was everything.

I love it. I understood the room concept once you explained. I would love that room for me lol. Maybe a sign with their name, one family picture and their first birthday picture. On the white wall to the right of the books you should have paintings that the kids do. Maybe have a family night of painting and hang it up on that wall. Excited for the other room and house tour!!
Aww so cute I remember my kids sharing a room when they were younger. They learn to love each other more. They grew up to b really close now there 18 and 17! Also boy and girl.

It's adorable and very Pinteresty but the rug doesn't follow with the scheme of the room. 😔 And I feel like it's more of a room when they are like 5 years and older. Right now Max and Camila still sleep with you in the room, so it doesn't make any sense for them to have their own room and beds even with no rails. 😬

Love it! but honestly the style is more for older kids. I have a two year old and his room is filled with what he likes (superheroes/toy story) it may not match but I decorate his room with what he likes not the “Pinterest” room that I want for him. They won’t be little for long and need to give him what he enjoys 😢
As mommies I think we can do what we think is best for our own children, I didint want any toy vibes in their bedroom that may distract them from bedtime. When they’re in their bedroom they will know it’s bed time not play time. Also another reason why I was never a fan of TVs in a room. I promise my children will have their space to be kids 💕

Love the minimalist atmosphere for the babies, they are so blessed! One day they’ll look back at these vlogs and really appreciate all of their family’s hard work ! 🥳👏 Also totally unrelated - but 5:56 - the gentleman should really be using kneepads! I cannot stress that enough, my dad is what I call a “handy many” & when I was little he was working with a nail gun and ended up with a lost nail to knee!! No bueno but beautiful craftsmanship. 😌

Love how warm and cozy everything looks, definitely a room to go mimis! Love the fact that they will have a play room! Im currently living in a 2bd apartment with 3 kids and honestly my living room is their play room and when i have family over i just tell them this is their home! Is all about them! One day i hope to get my own house and be able to give them their own space 💗 good job to u guys! And many more blessings!!

Everyone has their opinion but me personally I absolutely love this modern look. I myself am actually painting and decorating my sons room and decided to give it a modern/Montessori look. it’s not to adultish ect. There are touches of toddler/fantasy accessories there. So I think it’s ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! ❤️

The Rug is too small. Look up rug placements for the bedroom on Pinterest. I also think you should have let the accent wall be the focal point. Matching the covers with the wall color, is competing with the wall and it takes away from it. Maybe ivory covers would look better. Also the window nook would have looked great with a pattern fabric that has ivory blue and pink...just some suggestions but it looks great.
Me and my brother are a year apart also and we had the same room until age 8 and 9 years with bunk beds, it’s the best ❤️

Looks amazing, love it😍 the wall statement, book and carpet are my fave! I would switch that same carpet for a bigger size, add a mirror in their closet, add a personalized picture frame over their beds and safety outlet covers for the outlets. 🙂
