Played yesterday and I’m constantly dying to sweats. The SBMM is brutal in this mode.

@@torakka2ow640 it is most of the time in my experience, I am only dying to 20k plus kills pathy, horizon and rev who use pk and wingman. i don't even have 20k total kills

This solos gamemode is so useful for practice, it’s non stop action, short 10 minute games and you have only yourself to rely on

Solos should be permanent for sure, it’s fun asl
Just replace duos and make it so when people duo queue no fill trios they get easier matchmaking to make up for it

I have found it to literally be "get shot in the back the second you get in a fight" simulator. Honestly it was fun on the first day but I guess my sbmm wants me to play against 3x preds. I am not at all dissing Solos because I think its really good, but I just think the third partying is crazy hard to go against.
It’s a plague i did it in instinct and I felt bad we need like a code
I think it's full of sweats bc lower skilled players likely get too discouraged by the constant deaths, but i'd say i'm pretty avg and the sheer amount of sweats is turning me away too

Ah yes, the video we've all been waiting for. They're definitely trying solos out because the game has changed since they've taken their stance.
well they've taken the stance and then doubled down on it about a year ago or maybe even less. So there's no doubt the game has changed but I think they're doing it to get more concurrent players
It’s not the same team that made that statement they made a different studio
@@shanashhenry7078 while it’s true a lot of the older orginal devs have broken away and created new studios. One of the main current developers made the statement in an interview about it “never coming back” about a year ago.
Don't get me wrong. I'm having very fun with solos but it kinda sucks When my friend gets on and there's no Duo's I don't see why they cant keep both. modes.

pls apex community, lets push respawn into making solos a perma mode. we all saw that our voices have an impact like with the inner beast takeover that got turned into an LTM. so lets do it here.

man, i've been waiting for this gamemode but as soon as i tried it i instantly HATED it bc it made me realize how bad i am at this game 💀i've played about 10 games sp far and only managed to get like 1 kill... never doing it again for my own sanity, i get demoralized too quickly :(
UPD: i decided to give solos another try and it actually CAN be fun! my record for now is 9 kills and 2 second places. i think i just had to get used to more fast and aggressive game style! also thank you everyone for the advice :)
The most kills I get for solos ranges from 3 to 5 and that shit I'd demoralizing asf
I think it's incredible fun for incredible players, and not great for not great players. I also don't like it, so that may say something about how good I am 😅
Yeh agreed, he talks about a 20 bomb being easier, im not even getting that over 3 or 4 games let alone 1 atm lmao but im enjoying altar at least
I know it sucks, but i think solos will help a lot of players improve in stuff they lack. Not sure how you're landing, but you don't want to land far from fighting or you'll end up fighting a player with purple while you have a grey. For example, I'm landing right outside of hot drops. I loot up and tactically push to third party. Don't run straight down the center immediately or you'll get shot in the back. I play the edge of the hot drop and kill those players so i don't get shot in the back. Doing it this way, i managed to get 11 kills and a win my first solo game and i would say i'm an average player. I'm definitely not a 4k or 20 kill player lol. I don't have any of those badges haha.
In the end it's all situational, but the best thing you can do is focus on your positioning and be aware that players will land near you when they get killed and might be land on top of you.
First game I got 8 kills and won the game next game died right off the rip to a mad Maggie with 60k plus kills 10k with 301 and 20k with flatline the most kills overall is around 15k very sweaty

Same. There are still tons of people cheating and teaming up together in solos, but there are more "fair" fights. "fair" in quotes because other people's slow connections are constantly letting them shoot me after I duck behind cover or close a door. 25-30ms and I'll die a full second after I'm out of their line of sight lol

The little buff crypto got has a great difference to him I reckon , letting that drone out &getting info straight off makes a good difference
I have been waiting for solos since season 2; I have done several tweets and videos about how they needed to bring it back and now it’s back and I am stoked; also I am learning match after match that all this time it hasn’t been my teammates, it’s me that absolutely sucks lmao
This brought me back to the game I love solo gameplay. I was gone for about 4 seasons and Im addicted again they need to have ( Solos, Duos, Trios ) all as permanent modes

I find it interesting to play sense I’m used to the team aspect of it I kinda get lost on my own thoughts while playing solos but that’s just me been silly
I’ve always loved this game but it’s also really hard to get better at or improve at if you always have to play with 2 other people
Haven’t tried it but if I play solos. I’m thinking of seer or maybe rev or ash because of the murder machine upgrade
Solos world edge is gonna be fire i can feel it now for hot droppers
King canyons too since the map is a lot smaller, you're going to have a lot of fighting in the whole map.
@BigSuzpekt we have different experiences on kc on solos. Is hard to find people. Everyone is so scattered and seems to rat around. Constantly hunting to find more people lol broken moon seems to be better for solos so far.
@@kingcerberus93 I haven’t had the chance to try kings but it makes sense since it’s a smaller map so it’s easier to camp and get kills than the bigger maps where you need to find players.
@BigSuzpekt I honestly find it so difficult to find players on kc more than any other map on solos. I thought kc would be great for solos but it's actually my least favourite by far. feels like ur just running around looming for people. The only way I can find anyone on kc in solos is if I hear gunshots and even then its only a couple of people n then it's back to looking for more again
I deleted apex like 2 or 3 seasons ago, I take breaks every so often, but this update looks like it's worth trying out.
It could be that solos didn't work the first time because it lacked the changes they made this time around. Plus, i think more people has gotten tired of playing with randoms. I know a couple seasons it wasn't too bad playing pubs with randoms, but it's been toxic the year playing with random. I only play with my friends. Now that solos is here, i'm actually playing more by myself than before. This is helping me improve more.

lmao true, idk what those mfs are talking about "improving yourself" when this game has this TERRIBLE SBMM, if you are a decent player you will get throw to the predators/masters so they can farm on you
@Ieokk yeah if ur kd is anything above 1 that's it you're thrown in with full lobbies of super sweat high kill high dmg preds and masters. People that have been pred or masters every season. I feel sorry for any new player that has a few good matches as they'll be thrown in with these people. I don't see how solos could be a good way to improve when that's what you're facing every match lol
@@kingcerberus93 true, my KD is 1.4 or 1.5 atm, and solos are terrible for me, and I really dont remember the Iron Crown solos being this miserable for me I swear
@Ieokk yeah mine is similar to yours and it's made my solos experience terrible to the point I can't wait until its gone lol I'm like f this I'm going back to ranked. The sbmm has definitely made me find solos not enjoyable in the slightest
@@kingcerberus93 The funny thing is that I almost got the 20 bomb badge the day before yesterday, I got 15 kills, the matches were actually fair, I wasn't killing bad players but at least I had the chance to fight back, but yesterday I felt like I never played this game, I got clipped in EVERY DAMN FIGHT I GOT INTO, that makes no sense at all

Happy it's back. Haven't really played since Loba came out but holy fuck is it hard to get kills. I average around 4 a match.
It's been so nice as a mirage main not gonna lie. He really shines in a 1v1

The changes are S-tier
I am an average player (.65 KD) but this mode has helped me improve a ton. Not relying on your team really forces you to play differently.

Which controller settings do u use?
My only issues is how often I get third party’d in this mode. Pretty much all my deaths are get killed in 3 shots after I win my first fight.
Love the game mode. Hate that my lobbies are filled with masters and preds destroying me.
I'll be happy if I can at least get that 3K damage badge. Almost pulled off 2K in a match last night!

I get the feelings on the game sense with the enemy alert, it would be cool to not need it. But unfortunately I think it's necessary cuz I feel like that was only put so people weren't just ratting in a shit spot and jumping people or you walk into a building to loot just to find people who were hiding in a bush in the corner that you had no way to know about, and look 4 other people come out from hiding and you had no audio or environmental cues cuz they were just ratting silently. I'm with you where I wish it wasn't needed cuz it does affect game sense, but when you have no teammates it's just exponentially more frustrating to get blind sided by a rat. Cuz in duo/trio your team has an opportunity to turn it around, solo you're just dead the end. And we already know how we all feel about rats in pubs and ranked, so it's just a measure to prevent people from ruining the experience or just making it not fun to play.
I completely agree. I'm glad they added this, but it sucks we need it. Without it, i think people would get frustrated with rats and just stop playing solos. At least this feature allows you to be careful. I killed a rat holding a corner in a building because of this. If not, i would've walked in and had no chance in reacting.
@@BigSuzpekt yea it's saved me a couple times too. Even in ranked one solo rat can ruin your whole game so it makes sense to add that feature for solos. I do wish it would tell me I'm landing on people with my second drop BEFORE I'm already there, nothing loads in until I'm like IN THERE and then all the people and shooting loads in. But I know a lot of that is on me playing on the og ps4. I can only see other people dropping with me.
My problem with solos is that as a level 100 player, I usually go against level 300 plus l, diamonds, masters and predators players. I just can't play the game, cause people are too good. And this I find really disappointing, I was looking forward to this LTM

Same! I have a 0.4 kd, and died to multi season preds 4 or 5 times today. Solos just exposes how shit the matchmaking is in this game!

Every match of solos since my first one. All I get is 4K 20 bomb preds, I've never been anything but gold since I don't have the time to commit to ranked nor do I have a full squad to play ranked with. I don't understand the matchmaking here is there just no matchmaking and they just throw anyone and everyone in solos cuz I'd much rather have a longer queue and actually get people on my skill level then get wall jumping sweaty 4K 20 bomb preads every match.
So if I get a 20 bomb in soloes do I get the normal badge and the soloes one, or just the soloes one?
the harder you try the harder the sbmm will be, so good luck, eventually facing a lobby full of preds/master 4k damage 20 bombs

I gotta say, if you know how to play Wattson aggressively like I can, solos is so fun because people are so willing to run right at you. I’ve never gotten so many clips and fence kills as the last day and a half
I've been seeing a lot of wattson trying to do that fence door trick. I'm familiar with it, but when i see them do that real quick, i already know i'm fighting at least a masters with a 4k and 20 kill badge with wattson lol. It's so difficult to use wattson aggressively and you can just tell when they are really good at it.
oh my god they need to nerf the SBMM in this mode. im a barely diamond player and i cant escape predators sweating it out in my lobbys. im having 0 fun and i just want to get the badges. even constantly dying with no damage, im still keeping the high SBMM

I’m literally playing against preds in my lobbies. It’s impossible to try to win let alone have fun. Not worth it for a regular player.
came from cod/fortnite/valorant a week ago. the update dropped and i heard about solos. i didn't know anything about solos. i play my first game of and im killing people just to have them reappear on my ass a few seconds later. i died with 5 kills i had kill leader. i then saw that i could respawn above where i died and left the game. i ain't queued solo since
