  • Penny Station was bought by the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum from the Canadian National Railway for $1 in 1987. When news that the station was slated to be scrapped reached Penny residents, they reached out to the museum with the hope of preserving the building. The station was the heart of the community, and is one of the last original structures from that area.
In order to transport the station, the first step was to lift the building from its foundation. The station was then transferred onto a semi-truck and driven over an ice bridge. This process took place over two weeks.
The beautiful songs are by @Clarence Boudreau and can be found on his RUclips Channel. (listed in order)
