FYI, these are NOT audio interfaces and should not be referred to as such or compared to audio interfaces. There is no audio input or output routed through these devices, they are simply software-driven configurable audio "controllers". The knobs/faders can only be configured to simply control the volume of a specific application or a specific audio output device. The button presses can be configured to send a keystroke, launch or kill a specific application/process, trigger media controls (play/pause/next/etc), toggle specific output devices, mute a specific application or output device, or switch between profiles. The provided software is required to be running in the background (in the system tray) in order for the devices to function, and the software is only compatible with Windows (there is no support for Mac or Linux and support is not planned for the future AFAIK).
DO NOT BUY PC PANEL PRODUCTS, While the product is great lot of people have run into small issues and the company DOES NOT have ANY after support. They will not respond to any questions you have or will help you in anyway. Learned this the hard way unfortunately. BUYER BEWARE
Nothing is comprised of anything. The whole comprises the parts. The whole is NOT comprised of the parts. To say A is comprised of B is like saying A is involved of B. When A involves B, the proper way to say it is, "A comprises B."
I like how you got the first thing about these products wrong: They aren't interfaces. Nice review...

This should not be compared to a GoXLR, it is not the same type of device. This is NOT a USB interface for a mic.
Just got the PC Panel Pro and love it
Does the software has to run all the time?
